hey my puppy fell out of a moving car today. she has scrapes/cuts all over her face and legs and possibly sprained or fractured one of her legs. she's going to be fine but i need some help recouping ER vet costs today. not to be a cliche but anything, ANYTHING helps so much. 💕

i love my store and all my coworkers. when i announced my transfer, i told them “i will NOT leave you until the end of the first quarter” and by god i won’t. my last day is 3/31, the very last day of Q1, and then i am hightailing it out of there. i made it to the end of Q1 and i will not stay one second longer!

manager: well i’m not seeing that ticket up here... do you happen to have your receipt?
guest: YOU’RE MAKING AN ASS OUT OF YOURSELF

enjoying the public response that i encountered an alien
yesterday i was taking a guest’s order and they were staring at the menu and the question they asked stunned me into silence and has been burned into my brain for life and i will present it to you verbatim today. they looked at the menu and turned to me and asked “so like, the more we get, the more expensive it is? is that how it works?”

our store was way busier than normal this week and we are nearly out of tickets so my GM hit up my man (we r both managers) and said. hey. can you drive to aurora (4 hours away) to get us tickets. and we did the math and realized that he would be paid his hourly rate for 8 hours, plus .56 cents per mile for 500 miles total. and he said HELL YES and left immediately. he gets to aurora, walks in, and there’s a cop trying to break up a fight between a guest and a cast member while another cop takes a manager’s statement. here are his thoughts on the situation as he waited
