(Quds) The Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) delivered a letter, signed by hundreds of prominent Muslim organizations and individuals in the UK, to the Prime Minister Keir Starmer, urging him to recognize a Palestinian state.

The signatories marked four demands on the UK government: to urge the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza, to immediately cease all arms exports and military support to Israel's government, to demand an end to mass killings and the return of all hostages and prisoners, and to recognise Palestine as a sovereign and independent state.

"For the past 18 months, we have seen the indiscriminate slaughter of Palestinians daily and found very little support from the government to take practical steps to prevent this," the letter reads.

It added, "Beyond vague and equivocating statements, the actions have been the opposite; including the supply of weapons parts, surveillance flights or allowing the free passage of UK citizens to join the [Israeli army]."

Like genuinely it is unquantifiably fucked up insane horror how many times the U.S. government has deliberately created fascist dictatorships and enabled genocides and funded terrorism all over the world in order to just weaken other nations or force them to depend on our own military for help, and how this isn’t a conspiracy theory but openly available public information, but neither right wing nor left wing journalism breathes a word about it and there’s no ongoing outrage or backlash against it from within this country nor is it discussed in most public education settings. It only ever gets addressed at all by independent authors, comedians, cartoonists and bloggers. It gets passed around in clickbait articles as Fucked Up History Trivia though it still continues even now and the aftermath of even the earliest cases is still killing and oppressing people. There are entire generations of multiple countries growing up in poverty and misery because of Henry Kissinger alone.

a young woman here in sweden lost her leg to a rare type of cancer and got denied a modern prosthesis that she wanted and needed to make things easier in her day to day life plus the one she had just really fucking sucked. the prosthesis she had caused discomfort and pain.

she died very recently, the cancer being the cause of death. but she never got that modern prosthesis that she fought so hard for.

there is no good fucking reason for shit like this to happen and tbh the people responsible for this should feel guilty until the day they fucking die, and will rot in hell for eternity.

when will they realise how important disability aids are.
