Bro what is wrong with some people- This isn't the first time I've seen this; People, please be careful with those like THIS. Refusing communication and not even doing the commission/giving any progress (no matter your motivation) is not good.

Kat, I'm so proud of you for finally expressing yourself with this. It takes a lot of courage, bravery, and to suck up that anxiety to speak out the truth about someone else. You're doing a great job <3.

Fellow artists, whether on here or not, don't scam people. If you're going to do comms, take priority and get it done. It's a waste of money and time that the commissioner makes, and communication is key, especially with how society works now.

Don't do something like this.

Hello everyone,

I have refrained from addressing this matter publicly for several months due to anxiety, but I believe it is now imperative to break my silence. I am uncertain how many others may have encountered a similar situation, and I feel a responsibility to shed light on this behavior and hold it to account.

On March 28, 2024, I commissioned Toma/Tomato.png, also known as "tomato-arts" here on Tumblr, an administrator within the Touchstarved Discord server, for an artwork project. Despite numerous attempts to follow up, I have received neither progress updates nor the commissioned piece. The sparse responses I did receive consisted of vague assurances and unfulfilled promises regarding the project’s completion. As of today, I have not been refunded.

In my most recent communication, I explicitly requested a refund; however, this request remains unacknowledged. Since that exchange, Toma has ceased all communication. My efforts to engage patiently and diplomatically have been consistently disregarded. I have subsequently withdrawn from participation in the server, feeling alienated and frustrated. Although Toma appears to have been inactive, their profile was updated relatively recently, further compounding my disappointment at the absence of professional accountability.

Adding to this frustration, the Touchstarved server has transitioned to invite-only status, effectively restricting public access. This change significantly impedes the ability of others to reach out, connect, or report similar experiences. The shift suggests an attempt to evade scrutiny, which I find deeply concerning and unacceptable.

To maintain transparency, I am including recorded screenshots of our Discord direct messages, captured shortly after my final outreach attempt. I am sharing this information not with malicious intent but to prevent others from encountering the same difficulties after both I and others have experienced the same issues in the same time frame.

My disappointment and frustration cannot be overstated. While I acknowledge that unforeseen delays can occur, the complete disregard for ongoing communication and failure to deliver services over an extended period is unacceptable. I have extended ample time and opportunity for this issue to be resolved through private channels, but those efforts have been to no avail.

I do not support this conduct and encourage others to be careful in their engagements. If you have experienced similar treatment or possess insights on how to navigate this situation, I welcome your input. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Oouuughhh god it’s been forever since I’ve posted on this platform

To explain in short; I’ve very much noticed I’m a drama magnet without even wanting to be, and had gotten involved in stupid things that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. I am seriously not one to want to cause drama, be in drama, but lo and behold. HOWEVER!!

This isn’t really something that I shouldn’t be too concerned about now that I’ve practically rebranded myself. I want to make content, I want to earn a reputation with my art and kickstart my project once I’ve cooked character demos, the opening theme, and started storyboards for actors; but there’s a lot I’m still working on.

I have a new Sona, and you are totally willing to ask questions!!

I’ve known about the raids to primarily the mouthwashing fandom, and those who have roleplay accounts (I’m looking at you, pookie) and any anon questions asked that includes excessive gore, child gore, etc. will not be answered to. If I see media to it, I’m turning my asks to anons off. As much as I like the idea of gore, horror, etc, it crosses a line when it’s described outside of books, fanfiction, no matter. And child gore is nothing you should take lightly, because that takes into the topic of trauma and what I’ve held in my heart for personal reasons. I don’t take things that include younger audiences lightly, not to mention that this account and my @grimrco account are not for those under 18. To be honest, I’ve yet to write stories for that account and how I will take language into play. I definitely want to do research onto culture and merge and create new cultures without it intercepting too much to offend someone.
