     isaac is immediately tempted to make some sort of lewd comment, a knee-jerk reaction that’s stifled only by his better judgment and the lingering flush to her cheeks. she’s just not the person for him to do this with, and something resonates in him, telling him that. it’s weird, he hates it, and he wants whatever it is dead. ‘ for six fucking boxes, you better be giving me a contract or something. ’

      his words earn another laugh from her, but also a shake of her head ( which unintentionally causes wild curls to fall about her features ). ‘ can’t do that, i don’t think. by the time i call for a lawyer, get a proper contract written up, it’ll be christmas ! then my green, orange & purple lights will be virtually useless. ’ she shrugs, slender shoulders lifting ever so slightly. ‘ i can read your palm, though. give me your hand. ’

     isaac doesn’t outwardly respond to the giggle, sort of just standing there without much of an expression to return to her. it’s how he is most of the time, & though she wouldn’t know that, hopefully she doesn’t let it throw her off too much. ‘ that sounds doable. how much do you have to put up? ’ he doesn’t know why he’s feeling so charitable today. he hopes it doesn’t make him sweat. ew.

      she doesn’t allow his silence to phase her, mostly because shes used to being the only one a blushing, giggling mess. it was apart of her charm, she’d always been told. ‘ i bought six boxes of strands. ’ she answers, twirling the very bag that held all her decorations in hand. ‘ what can i give you in return for your help ? ’

     ‘ depends – where’re you planning to hang them ? i don’t do ladders. my ass is too precious to risk on that dangerous shit. ’

      she can’t hold back the giggle that falls from her lips at the comment he makes about his ass & it being precious. the brunette’s cheeks warm to a rosey shade as she shakes her head. ‘ you don’t have to get on a ladder. i’d never risk your precious... behind. ’ she motions behind her to the door which lead to her apartment. ‘ i was thinking around the door frames & on the window sills... maybe. ’

      ‘ you’re a tiny thing, too ! jeez, i think if god or... whoever’s out there is gonna make people this tiny, they should at least give us step ladders whenever we need them. ’ she offers a nervous laugh as she thought back on her prior interaction with the other. the brunette’s smiling sweetly through thick lashes as she eyes the other. ‘ well, i got a lot of other things we don’t need to reach for ? lots of cobwebs & little knick knacks. what d’you say ? i can make coffee, too, if you’re in need. i know i’m dying for a cup after my shift. ’
