Things I do to help feel externally/physically affirmed as a canine therian in places where I am unable to wear therian gear/do not own therian gear.

This is my own personal way, everyone's therian experience will be different! I apologize if I use any words or terms incorrectly.

1. Painting my nails/claws to match the colors of my theriotype.

My theriotype has black claws, so I paint my nails/claws black to match and feel connected.

2. Wearing headgear such as hats that depict my theriotype or I associate with my theriotype.

For example, these hats. The first one is mass-produced and can be purchased from websites such as eBay. The second one is done by KingGuro [not affiliated].

3. Getting certain body modifications professionally done that help me feel connected to my theriotype such as angel fangs.

Please never do piercings on yourself! Go to a professional and reputable piercer to have any piercing work done. Or, get fake non-piercing replacements. But be safe and responsible no matter what!

4. Wearing ethical jewelry that I associate with my theriotype.

The first necklace is by YourTribeNaturesArt [not affiliated]. The second necklace is done by Willowbellbones [not affiliated].

5. Wearing colors that reflect my theriotype's pelt color.

For example, my theriotype's pelt is black, therefore, I wear black clothing to reflect this.

These are just some things I do! I'm hoping by sharing these ideas it may help someone else express themselves too. But remember everyone is different! If you're unable to do any of these things or simply don't want to, you're valid 🖤☘️
