No longer a haven, a place of pure joy,
A house now it stands, bare vitality.
Laughter once echoed, unburdened souls,
Now stillness settles, a haunting night.
We were innocent, sheltered from world struggles,
A family united, a beautiful life.
But time’s cruel hand, reveals the reality,
A world full of sorrow, a heart heavy, keen.
No longer our own, a fleeting illusion,
A selfish desire, a harsh reality.
The bonds we once cherished, now stained and torn,
A battle within, a painful night.
We cling to the past, a fading ember’s glow,
As the future unfolds, uncertain and slow.
A house, not a home, a bitter reality,
A world full of conflict, a lost humanity.
