      sorry I’ve been so quiet here and on disk.. cord. Yesterday my younger chid was sick, and it was my older daughter’s 8th bday, Sunday was her party, and Friday is going to be my 29th birthday. So things have been a little busy. Plus I ran out of my meds on Saturday and have been fighting off getting sick myself so had no energy to gt them refilled so all in all I’ve just been totally drained. I’ve drafted everything I’ve seen be replied to, so I promise no one is being ignored or anything. Hope you guys are all doing well.

I hate doing this but I’m sorry. Irma has taken us all by surprise. 

Hi everyone.  I live in Orlando, and am currently anxiously watching as Irma looms south of us, crawling her way up to meet us. It’s not the best of situations for me or my family. Financially we are already doing rough. I live with my mother and grandmother and all of us have some form of disabilities (my mother has severe back and knee problems, I have pseudotumor celebri and mutliple mental issues as well as knee and back problems, and my grandmother is a diabetic.) 

Our house is sturdy but like every old house it’s seen its fair share of wear and tear and on both sides of the house in neighboring yards are old trees with fair amount of worrying signs. 

On top of the worries that come with being in the midst of the record breaking Irma, we also have bills to pay but, both me and my mothers job has taken us out of our shifts for the next few days as a safety precaution. I am grateful they’re looking out for our safety, but knowing that the paycheck come after the storm will be miserable is disheartening, because preparing for the storm we dipped into what little reserves we had to pay for emergency items. 

After the storm we’ll have to repair any damage we receive and hope things aren’t too bad off. I’m hopeful and looking to the bright side of things, that after every storm is a rainbow.
