One thing I don’t understand

When I (just lowkey casually mention like oh I watched Tour yesterday, I won’t go on and on because it’s a can of worm in itself) about TDF during it is actually taking place, some people always say “Oh I need to check it out”. Like, you never watch cycling. Ever. You don’t even recognise the word Vuelta. The only cyclist you know is That American and it’s not for the sporting reason. You don’t even know the difference between Polka Dot and Green. You don’t know why Slovenia is such a big deal. You can’t tell Trek from Cube. You don’t like looking at some random place in Italy/France/Spain/Switzerland. You don’t even recognise the face of WvA.  Why do you even bother mentioning it?

I accidentally watched this with “Maneater” by Nelly Furtado as background music and that is like the most Mathieu song ever “Everybody get your neck to crack around/All you crazy people, come on, jump around/I wanna see you all on your knees, knees/You either wanna be with me or be me” SEE!?
