TASC Lab Thurs June 14th, 2018
HSE CELEBRATION is next Thursday! RSVP here for the End-of-Year HSE Celebration/Graduation! Every participant is invited.
Portfolio Reflections are Tuesday. Please spend time in Lab today preparing for your presentation of your accomplishments.
Find the goals you originally posted to this Blog at the start of the cycle.
Write a response to yourself (on the blog, by clicking “reply”) for each of your goals. What accomplishments or strides did you make toward reaching each particular goal? What were some challenges?
Record your responses on the Goals Reflection sheet that Destiny will give you so you have a hard copy of your reflection for class on Tuesday.
Go the extra mile: Use the TASC End of Cycle Reflection on Individual Learning that I gave out on Tuesday to write an essay about your accomplishments. This will give you some writing practice and a piece you can read in class if you desire to present that way. Ask a classmate to proof read your piece!
Use the remaining Lab time to continue practicing and to frame your Summer studies:
Review the Jeopardy game we played on Tuesday, found here: https://jeopardylabs.com/play/tasc-central . Refer to https://www.mometrix.com/academy/tasc-math/ and https://www.test-guide.com/tasc-test/free-tasc-practice-tests/tasc-math-practice-quiz-1.html from which I gathered some of the questions.
Review study guides found on Momentrix, like the the TASC Math Study Guide: https://www.mometrix.com/academy/tasc-math/
Work from the Complete Sentences material found here: https://www.mometrix.com/academy/complete-sentences/
look back through previous Blog posts for other useful practice links. Explore Mathisfun.com, Momentrix, Khan Academy, ReadTheory.org, and PBSLearningMedia
