i decided that, with so much free time on my hands, i would finally start working on my own save file! first up was a renovation of daisy hovel in willow creek - i’ve always found it hard to build without all of my beloved cc, but i was ready for the challenge and i’m really pleased with the outcome! i found that i took more time to focus on the architectural style and landscaping when building without cc, it was a lot of fun and felt strange having my game run so fast lol. let me know if you download this build, or if you have any tips or advice for my next one (i am by no means a great builder!)

ever since learning to recolour items in the sims, i’ve wanted to make some of the wooden items in additional cooler/neutral wood tones, and i am on a mission to do just that! i started with a simple bedroom set, included in the .zip file is:

Neutral Glass Doors by @cereussims

i’ve been wanting to recolour the bg glass doors for a while now but only just got my head around the process, and now here they are in six lovely neutral colours - three warm and three cool tones! this is my first ever attempt at recolouring an item in the sims 4 and while it’s not perfect, i’m still happy with the outcome! i also decided to add the new swatches to @illogicalsims full height glass doors since i use them all the time and the textures were identical. 

thank you also to @illogicalsims for the incredibly helpful youtube tutorial on recolouring items in s4s.

i plan on recolouring the bg full height glass windows in these swatches too so keep an eye out for those soon!
