Jimmy. Observing lots of scenes for the fall finale. I have seen posts of people who have shadowed directors of Chicago Fire. What an exciting, and totally fitting, job prospect for Jimmy. If you have ever listened to his podcast, he is definitely up for the challenge. This guy knows a thing or two about storytelling, what works, and what doesn’t. I love this idea. I hope to tune in to watch an episode he has directed in the future. Go Jimmy!

Hanako and Jimmy

Presenting awards at the 2022 Chicago/Midwest Emmys this weekend.  It is so good to see them together again.  They each have a red-carpet interview (Hanako at 19:55 and Jimmy at 28:08). 

The actual ceremony is linked below too.  They present a few awards starting at 2:14. They are adorable and hilarious as usual.  Hanako uses so many terms of endearment talking to Jimmy.  Sigh.  They are followed up by Jake Lockett at 2:25.

Was I impatient waiting for Jimmy’s birthday Instagram message to Hanako? Yes, yes I was. It didn’t disappoint. ❤️ They are so giggly. I think this is the same day/shoot as “bacon hands.”

I guess I should hold my tongue. He may hire Jimmy on a future project. I doubt it, but maybe then I could forgive him (nope, I won’t).

I’m still thinking of Jimmy and Hanako (thinking of Evan and Violet just makes me sad). Also, holding out hope we will see them together again in some way. The camera doesn’t lie. They were magic on screen.

Yes, please! More Jimmy Nicholas interviews! My heart breaks for him on that last day of filming, but they gave him quite a loving send-off for a guest actor. He deserved it.
