To whomever left these tags in the reblogs: what the fuck?
If your position is "We won't put anyone in prison, we'll just kill the people who need killing!" you are not a "prison abolitionist", but an "aspiring lynch mob member."
Things you can do to make your local retail workers happy:
Put things back on the shelf where you found them
If you can't put something back where you found it, give it to the cashier when you check out and tell them you don't want to buy it. This way we can put it back now rather than wait to find it eventually.
Put your cart away
If you see a spill, broken glass, fallen shelves or any other potentially dangerous mess, let an employee know so they can fix it before it becomes a lawsuit. If you are the one to cause the mess, it's better to be up front about it than try and hide.
Likewise if you notice any messes or broken toilets in the bathroom, tell an employee
Have your coupons ready before you check out.
If an employee is awesome, leave a positive review. Ask them where to leave reviews
If you see a manager being a terrible boss (harrassing employees, yelling, being rude in general to coworkers) then leave a review for that as well. Let them know what you saw, alongside when it happened and what was said and that the manager's behavior soured your view on the store. Regular coworkers can be dealt with, but typically a cashier or normal employee is trapped with their manager. As a customer, you have more power over this than the employee, so make sure to bring to light these issues if you find them because some employees can be punished by a manipulative manager if they themselves bring it up.
