I have been changed for good. #wicked15 ~ It’s already been 15 years since this musical changed my life! I remember crying watching the curtains rise on the stage for the first time, I remember listening to the soundtrack and not feeling so alone. I remember sharing it with my friends and finding happiness in singing the songs we loved. Wicked saved me in so many ways, and it taught me, among other things, not to be afraid of being different. And to love and care for those around you. Happy 15th birthday, @wicked_musical!!! In the Life of a Witch there is no ever after, there certainly is no Happily. Although, It is said that, people come into our lives, for a reason. Surrounded, or Alone, It certainly doesn’t re-shape it. It was never explained to us why the Witch was Wicked, let alone how. Scorn and Wickedness was left in her wake, however. 

Did anybody ever mourn the Wicked? Was it even right; mourning the Wicked in the first place? 

Very few believed; Nobody was exempted from grief.

And there, the Witch walked the Yellow Brick road; a simple road, the distance, however, divides oneself from another. Its saddening to think that the concept of distance has kept two bodies apart, but following it in the afterlife makes the pair closer than ever.

The Original Wicked Witch

Wicked [even though I have yet to see it–for shame!]

Tom and Jerry Animated WWW [I realize there are two other animated versions of her, but again, I have yet to see the shows– I really do love this design though!]

Gemmy Animated Wicked Witch [Yes folks! She IS a robot, and she will be drawn/portrayed as a robot. She runs off an adapter using servos/motors. I happen to own this version from 2012-14 [I believe?], with edited cosmetics and costume. :) Proud of my big girl ]

Disney World  / Hollywood Studios Wicked Witch Animatronic She is featured in the Wizard of Oz portion of The Great Movie Ride and OH BOY I LOVE HER. Seeing this beautiful bot is on my top 10 bucket list. From 1989, she is the FIRST A-100 Audio-Animatronic that runs off hydraulics [fluid as opposed to compressed air] for smoother moment.

I'm hoping they'll treat the bots decently, but I'm paranoid ever since the reveal of one of the Ellen bots from Universe of Energy in a very bad state of decay, with the face destroyed after being stretched over an ill-fitting mannequin for sale. I can only imagine what fate awaited the other animatronics on the ride. Here's hoping the GMR bots will have a much nicer fate. :(

OHHHhhh god I saw that !!! It was appalling D: I completely forgot and I agree, I hope that they use their brains for the GMR bots because not only would we lose a piece of the park’s history, but literally the only realistic animated realistic replicas of the original actors ;v; they were so great even to today’s standards ~

I’m also glad someone cares as much as I do ghwoeghe

Yesterday we found out that the Great Movie Ride had actually shut down in 2017 --- we had no idea, as this was one of the main attractions I was hoping to see in our trip to Disney ever since buying Cessie :( I was so set on seeing the witch that has been there since the 80′s. It’s safe to say that we’ll never see her operating now, and I can only hope and pray that she’s not used for parts or stored in the underground warehouse to be forgotten. If they don’t throw all 50+ of those audio animatronics in a museum or use them elsewhere I’m GONNA SCREAM

Anyways, there goes slot#2 on my bucket list rip....
