Because my stupid ass forgot my own password, and now I'm stuck with doing no art at all because i can't find the third party option(it's wasn't even there). It's either Ai companies uses my art to train AI or deleting my tumblr account(Yes ik, deleting your account just because you forgot your password? That's absolute Bulshit! But it's either deleting this blog or AI stealing my art)...yes same with @chain-draws-stuff too...it was very hard for Chain to decide but, he says so anyway, I'll see you in my new account I guess? :')

Sadly this is where the legacy of my blog ends I know i said I won't leave but I won't! I'm just going to change my account thats all...sorry for the the shit that I promised but never actually came true...the support you guys gave was absolutely off the chart! With me only having 22 followers it was fine with me, it was enough to encourage me to keep going and continue my blogs legacy. To opt out of sharing your public blogs’ content with third parties, visit each of your public blogs’ blog settings via the web interface and toggle on the “Prevent third-party sharing” option. 

For instructions on how to opt out using the latest version of the app, please visit this Help Center doc. 

Please note: If you’ve already chosen to discourage search crawling of your blog in your settings, we’ve automatically enabled the “Prevent third-party sharing” option.

PSA: Tumblr/Wordpress is preparing to start selling our user data to Midjourney and OpenAI.

you have to MANUALLY opt out of it as well.

to opt out on desktop, click your blog ➡️ blog settings ➡️ scroll til you see visibility options and it’ll be the last option to toggle.

to opt out on mobile, click your blog ➡️ scroll then click visibility ➡️ toggle opt out option.

if you’ve already opted out of showing up in google searches, it’s preselected for you. but you also have to opt out for each blog you own separately, so if you’d like to prevent AI scraping your blog i’d really recommend taking the time to opt out. (source)
