The Venus of Willendorf was part of my inspiration for the character design of Gaia. Their wide hips and breasts on display represent fertility and being a mother. Being able to bring life and beauty into the world.

A maquette would be nice to make because I want to improve my sculpting skills, I might work on this further on in my spare time.

I have worked with needle felt before but never for a puppet. It seems adaptable and fun to use to animate. I would like to create one of my character designs for a stop motion puppet made from needle felt as I love the material and has a soft and charming look to it. It could work well with the mother nature type character I’m creating.

animation studios near me in West Sussex 

I was going to stay in Norwich for a year but due to unexpected circumstances at home, I’m moving back home. I have been looking at animation studios near me so I have an idea about what jobs/internships I could apply for.

Currently, I want to apply for internships or short courses once I graduate as I think I would feel more comfortable if I’m being taught how to expand my skills instead of being expected to know certain skills. Being in an environment where I’m expected to make mistakes and learn from it would be ideal.
