He backs away from iTrapped, shooting him a final look before he heads off.

"I don't care about the casino or my wealth. I don't care about what you could possibly do to me, Trapped. Because I have the best partner I could have ever possibly asked for, and if I have him by my side, I really don't care what you try on me. Try as you might, Trapped, but at the end of the day, the best route for you would be taking these empty promises of yours and shoving them up your rich-boy asshole. You won't ever have a chance with him."

And then Chance walked into the distance, slowly fading out of view until he disappeared off the arena. He couldn't wait to return to his rosebud!

They scoff, unimpressed. At least he was making an active effort this time.

"These people knew full well what they were getting themselves into. So did I. Do you think I would be so dishonest as to purposely rig these games- To end these people's lives? The term "body count" implies I had an active part in it."

"And perhaps I did, though... Could you really call me a victim if I had just about a greater chance as any of the others to have my own brains blown out? 1 could argue you took part as well since you were so kind to suggest these games to these poor folk yourself."

"I would never purposely do anything to hurt my Elliot. You, on the other hand... I find it absolutely hilarious how someone as reckless as you still believes you're qualified to take him from me. Though I must commend the genuine effort this time around! You're actually trying for a change, instead of leeching on me all day and night. It's so adorable."

With that, they sucked and purposely spat in the other's face.

I think this might rank as one of the Top 10 most audacious things you've ever attempted. I wonder if you'll fail again, just like the other 9 times."

"Try your best, Trapped. Let's see how this turns out. If you believe hard enough, maybe this time it won't turn out like one of your many financial failures."

They paused for emphasis, smiling at iTrapped with the bitchiest smirk they could muster up.

"On second thought... Perhaps you shouldn't try. Keep your lips permanently zipped for once or else you'll embarrass yourself and prove me right!"

“I had a feeling you were going to go for him- But I wasn’t aware you’d be daft enough to speak it out loud! Oh, I feel sorry for your poor, overinflated ego, Trapped- Dear me… Have you ever considered becoming a comedian?”

He slapped his knee for emphasis, uncocking his revolver and cackling at the mere thought. Elliot falling head over heels for iTrapped of all people? It was funnier than Doombringer finding love.

“Ahh… What a real kneeslapper… He is very cute, Trapped, However, as the saying goes: finders keepers, losers weepers.”

He folded his arms behind his back, leaning towards the other.

“I must ask you properly this time, iTrapped. What makes you so sure that you’re more qualified than I am? That Elliot’ll come running straight into your rich boy arms with your shoes from last season in the hypothetical situation we break up?”

Even as he faced his nemesis, the mere mention of Elliot sent butterflies bouncing off the walls of his stomach.

“Not to mention he’s all mine as well! I really must thank you, iTrapped… you did help me bag the most beautiful boy in the world, after all.”

He rolled his singular eye behind his glasses. Ugh… It really was him. What a buzzkill.
