This is Chandler Kielh reporting from Chez Dorm 21. I know, it's super glamorous. You have no idea how many times I get my door knocked on by out-of-towners from Europe who are begging to spend the night in my room. I sadly inform them that I have it booked until classes break in 2013. Another sad news: my dormmate Josh also has this room booked. Look, Josh! Some people can blog as well as maintain a conversation... I can't stand people who can't hold conversations. I have been called talkative, motor mouth, etc and so forth. However, the term I like to use is "talking enthusiast." The term is ideal because I can just go on and on about the things I'm interested in. I really like musicals (if that wasn't obvious because I am attending NYU: Tisch ), junk food I shouldn't be eating, clothes, poetry, coffee (NYC is teaching me to become a snob about it to, no apologies here), and well as some other things . But, we're getting ahead of ourselves: hi, my name is Chandler Kiehl, and I would love to be your friend.

... No. But hasn't the idea of karma because a community concept, not strictly religious, with the current years? I mean, my mom's Jewish, but we've never actually done anything about it. We pass around presents at Christmas. But I can still believe in karma. It's all about being kind to people!

That's rude, though! I feel so bad. God forbid I end up homeless one day, I'd want someone to give me money. What about karma? Quinn said it was for karma!
But I don’t carry food on me. Do you think I should do that? Or buy them some street food? I don’t want ants to attack me looking for food all the time or anything. Or always have crumbs on me - that’s not a good impression.

Sebastian has no brain? Uh, alrighty. Good karma is always really good. My mom goes on about that. She taught me to always tip people and to put the spare change at a place in the tip jar. I think I have a lot of good karma, because I am learning at my dream school in the Big Apple. So, giving them money would only further the good karma... I am okay with this.
I have a question...
And Sebastian has no brain, so why listen to him? Up to $5 won’t kill you to give them . There’s a 50/50 chance they are or are not homeless, and just think of the good karma you would have if they were homeless.

I figure a dollar or so won't hurt me and it'll just help them! I mean, they can get a nice drink for a dollar, or some cheap chips for a little more than dollar. So, that's super helpful! I can't believe I never see anyone actually giving the homeless money. Sebastian said I shouldn't though...
I have a question...
I usually feel bad for them, unless it’s obvious they’re lying. Though, I’ve never encountered a situation like that. It wouldn’t hurt to spare $2-$5, I don’t think there’s a drug that cost that much.

I have a question...
Am I supposed to give money to the homeless people who ask for it or are they going to just buy drugs and be creepy because sometimes I feel really bad for them? I mean, this one guy said he was blind and couldn't open is eyes. No one else was giving money, it was so sad! But he walked through the subway on the end doors... it was weird. Like, wow talent for being blind!
