Small Haitus

I know I haven't said much recently, but that's purely cause my work schedule has changed.

Streams will be held off for now until back to our regular schedule. In the mean time I'm also available on BlueSky!

Tumblr will be used to promote streams and art, Bluesky is more personal, and finally Twitter will be promoting my Etsy merch!

So it's been a while but

Out of curiousity....

How do you guys like my fics? Just....genuine question.

Whether its my bnha fics like If Things Were Different, Ultimatum, or even my recent chilumi fic Intervention

I second this, I've been applying to zines that I know I would enjoy, but at the same time after a good number of rejections, I just learned to accept and move on. Just continue to improve and try again next time.

I do want to wish those who do get in good luck and make the best pieces out there whether you are a writer or an artist. I may have not gotten in but I won't let that bother me either. I have other things in life that I should focus on than cry over not getting into a zine. It sucks but hey, life has their ups and downs and we just gotta learn how to keep going. I'm still gonna contribute the theory in my own way, even if it's not part of the zine :3

Again, thank you for having this zine come to life and I hope the contributors do this theory justice. Wishing the best of luck to everyone in there!

Rejection Sucks but it Doesn’t Define You

As Zine acceptances go out, so too do the inevitable rejections. I won’t lie, it sucks when you don’t get accepted into something you really want to be in. I can relate to this as I remember applying for my first Zine, confident in my skills. Ha. I got completely rejected on my art and writing. I actually cried a bit. I was definitely salty too. It wasn’t going to be the only time I got rejected from a Zine either :’) I’ve been rejected by more than a few.

First and foremost Zines are subjective. Each mod has different tastes in art and writing, which is great for diversity, but sometimes means the artists and writers I really loved were not so loved by others [and vice versa].

At the end of the day this is a fanzine and one based on a still unproven fan theory. I am not some fandom leader and neither is anyone else on this Zine. We’re just a bunch of nerdy fans who want dad for one content. It’s okay to be upset, but don’t let it stop you from creating. We saw so much amazing content. We spent countless hours going over the applications. We had several ties. You guys were awesome.

Thank you all who applied to the Zine. I was seriously impressed by the amount of amazing creators that put forth applications. We hope the Zine can live up to your expectations. If you didn’t get into the Zine but would still like to help out somehow let me know in a DM! We’re happy to have help in promotions and doing dad for one fan events.
