π₯Β STEPHEN STRANGEβ !!
open starter !
there was a lot to be said about stephen strange - but him being akin to harry potter was not one of those things. he absolutely dreaded having to deal with anything about the ridiculous childrenβs books - so when he woke up and found heβd beenΒ βgiftedβ a wand and that none of his magic worked unless he evokedΒ a stupid spellβ¦. he was less than pleased.
βsuddenlyβ¦ i have lost all ability to cast or conjure magic. itβs a shame really, i suppose iβll have to default back to my medical knowledge.β he boasted towards anyone who would listen. it certainly was interesting seeing everyone change in some formβ¦ plus the reddish sky. if he hadnβt considered the infinity stones before, he definitely considered them now.
βi donβt know.β wanda sighed.Β βi suppose i could just talk to him, right? i just feel so stupid. iβm supposed to be this all-powerful, world-ending mega witch. i should know what all of this is about and why weβre here, blah blah blah.βΒ she shook her head and looked sideways and towards the ground in thought. she didnβt really know why she was being so honest and conversational about this. itβs not like she knewΒ the people behind the cameras. but they called thisΒ βthe confessionalβ and that meant honesty, right?Β βalright. iβm just gonna talk to him.β
when she found stephen he seemed grumpier than usual, and she looked over her shoulder and into the camera ( that wasnβt there ) with a grimace.Β βyikes,β she mouthed, before turning back to the sorcerer.Β βhey. i came over here to talk to you about some stuff, but, uh... you seem distracted, like something is going on. did someone do something?βΒ her eyes widened, and she chanced a glimpse sideways at the camera again.Β βwas it tony?β

π₯Β ERIK LEHNSHERRβ !!
( @chaosvvitchβ )Β ππ§ππ π‘πππ£π¨πππ§π§ & π¬ππ£ππ π’ππππ’π€ππ
βmy daughter,β erik called out, having decided that if he could float; he would. his shoes were far too expensive to be trekking through the muck of this so-called water. he approached, floating down towards her and landing gracefully onto a pile of rubble, smiling a bit as he did so - though soon the smile had dropped.
βiβve seen your sister, but your brother is nowhere to be found. whichβ¦ shame,β he commented lightly, making it no secret that pietro was a factor in erikβs life that merely came and went as the tides changed.Β βfairing well, my child? you look exhausted.β he reached out towards her, his fingers reaching to touch her cheek in care. he tried to be a better father to his children, but the past had made it difficult; had made it unsteady.
wanda could feel this place as if it were breathing, thinking β and yet it felt empty. like nothingness. like a galaxy without a universe. and she could feel the people within it β ones she knew and ones she didnβt. and she could feel her father before he spoke. the manner of his approach was just like him β the essence of showmanship and arrogance that he passed down to all of his children.
βpietro is dead, daddy.β sheβd practiced saying it after the fact β as if she could make herself used to it. she supposed it worked in some way. she could say it now without falling apart, because they just felt like words without meaning. pietro is dead.Β βi couldnβt bring him back, and i tried everything short of dismantling reality.βΒ it would have been a selfish thing, but one she was willing to do for her brother. she hesitated, looking sideways at her father and catching his eye.Β βand i even considered that.βΒ wanda had never told that to anybody. who could she tell? who could understand her impulse to tear apart the universe to bring her brother back? he could. her father could.Β
despite the hate she may have felt for her father at given points of their past, she was a daughter of the house of magnus.Β
when he reached his hand towards her, wanda surprised herself by leaning into his touch. with his hand on her cheek he truly felt like a man who mightβve been a father β she could almost imagine him caring for them after the death of their parents. he was different then, and he was different now ( thatβs what she told herself, at least ). you look exhausted.Β βiβm tired,β she said quietly, closing her eyes.Β βthis place... it feels like my failure.β
