          a  shirtless  joonhyuk  was  hunched  over  the  sink  in  his  hotel  room  while  staring  at  his  reflection,  drops  of  water  running  down  chiseled  cheeks  before  landing  in  the  basin  with  a  small  splash.  he  doesn’t  want  to  go  to  this  thing  —  he  really,  really  doesn’t.  unfortunately,  he  knew  if  he  failed  to  make  an  appearance  then  at  least  one  of  the  other  members  would  come  fetch  him  sooner  or  later.  the  sound  of  a  knock  confirming  this  suspicion  but  not  without  a  small  huff  of  annoyance  from  the  raven  haired  male.  he  must  not  have  been  moving  fast  enough  as  said  person  proceeded  to  knock  three  more  times  in  a  quicker  manner.    ❛  calm  down,  ❜    he  calls  out  before  reluctantly  unlatching  the  door,   ❛  i’m  not  finished  getting  ready.  ❜

it takes a lot to fuel the fire that always sits below the surface of alexander’s skin, years & years of dealing with bullshit has caused the male to wear a suit of armor of sorts… never letting people’s words get to him. but tonight, tonight was different. he’d let himself be vunerable, talked to some strangers at a bar after a few drinks & one of them happened to make a comment about how alexander was lucky he wasn’t a father and it just sent him spiraling — angry words pouring from his lips like venom, though before he lets himself get completely out of control, he pulls himself away from the situation. storming out of the place, hopping on his motorcycle only to speed towards home.

it isn’t until he pulls up to the gates of headquarters that an incessant need starts tugging at the back of his mind, the anger still building up in his chest causing his footsteps to take him towards the garage, spotting joonhyuk’s figure across the room before the other even knows alexander’s entered it. he’s quiet as he approaches the other, watching carefully to see what hyuk was up to — but the second he’s within arms length of the other, his hands reach out to grasp joon’s wrists, a quick step forwards happens to pin the other between alexander & joon’s car. “hope you’re not too busy…” there’s a smirk to his words, brow raising as he takes yet another step towards the other. “— not that i give a fuck if you actually are.”

          it  was  very  hard  to  truly  catch  joonhyuk  off  guard  which  explained  why  a  wrench  was  clutched  tight  in  his  fist  even  as  it’s  now  pressed  against  his  vehicle.   he  could  have  easily  fought  his  way  out  of  lex’s  hold  but  holds  still  knowing  this  was  part  of  a  little  game  they  had  going.   the  smug  look  on  the  other’s  face  has  joonhyk’s  nostrils  flaring  and  eyes  narrowing,  easily  recognizing  the  scent  of  alcohol  laced  in  his  breath.    ❛  why  am  i  not  surprised  ?  ❜    his  face  remains  straight  although  there’s  a  hint  of  attitude  in  his  tone  due  to  the  unwanted  interruption  while  he  was  working.   alexander  always  had  a  habit  of  showing  up  whenever  he  wanted,  or  rather  joonhyuk  had  the  worst  luck  and  was  usually  the  first  person  he  went  to  in  this  state  of  mind.    ❛  you  think  i’m  gonna  be  the  one  who  gets  on  their  knees  this  time  when  you’re  bothering  me  ?   that’s  cute,  alexander,  real  fucking  cute.  ❜
