Hmm, alright the Empyrean Kayle skins aren't half bad, I don't know if I love them so far 'just ok' are the vibes. I do however want to highlight that their heads being more colorful than her body is a nice touch.

Ironically though I think I prefer the non-prestige version of the head, even if the prestige is a nice Kill La Kill reference, because Kayle's head being nothing but a flame with two decorations. Has that nice 'Be not afraid' vibes that Kayle should have

Empyrean Kayle huh...I need to properly see the skin and splash + the Prestige before I give judgement but...at the moment not impressed.

Empyrean is such a nothing skinline though, like they look cool for basic enemies, not for important characters.They look 'cool' yeah, but they are nothing but characters in black with RGB lights

Kayle remained silent as she heard her sister speak, unmoving, her helmet making her expression unreadable. Where DID it go wrong?

She could blame the fight they had, that was the thing that broke their relationship so terribly for so long, but if she had to be honest, that was simply the last straw rather than the inciting factor.

Even before then there were hundreds of little fights, discussions that went long into the night and only stopped when one or the other gave up, that certainly built up the animosity towards each other...but....

"We stopped talking" She said simply. And it was the truth, they were content to remain silent, even as they both were heading for a collision course. "We...we should have talked."

"You look amazing with that outfit, your Majesty ~" (to Viego. Because it's too good of an opportunity to pester the King)

He sighs, still rather bored, even in the revealing outfit, though he had the faintest of blushes on his form.

"Yes yes, all the atire I wear fits my royal self perfectly, it is the quality of kings" He uses sword to rest against it while he looks at himself in the mirror. "...Isolde loved when I wore stuff like this. She was so frightening in bed, I was so enthralled by her."

Shame as a concept didn't survive the second resurrection

Something that is very interesting about Camille and her relationship with Zaun is that she has been at this for decades, she's been 'pruning threats' to Piltover's authority for years, and she's been doing a very good job, but ironically it ended up being mostly counter-productive.

Because yeah, Camille has been taking out major players and threats, but Zaun is more dangerous, more autonomous, more powerful than ever before. Turns out that whenever you start cutting people down, often those that survive are the cowards, the cheaters, or the smart ones that made sure to not bring too much attention to themselves, while also making everyone generally more dangerous as they keep living under a literal knife presses against their throats.

Camille was so good at her job, it made her own job harder.

Hi hello it's the viego overanalyzing anon.

Viego lore is filled with inconsistencies and mischaracterizations and retcons so any way you choose to interpret his actions is valid and can be justified in canon.

That being said I do think Viego really passed the test of his soul, in the sense that he wanted to be a ruler worthy of wielding Sanctity. Because that's the thing about him (imho), he *wants* to be a good king and a good husband and a good person and make his ancestors proud. He just keeps failing at this because 1) he's not perfect, in fact he is a dumbass and he lets that get the better of him, 2) he got thrust into the role of king very young and with little preparation and 3) he got little to no real support when things got tough. (Depending on what lore you consider canon, but) Ruling Camavor was by no means an easy task and suddenly he was left all alone, in mourning, but still expected to go to work as if nothing was wrong, and had barely anybody to turn to because everybody was afraid of him for the power he had. In that spot even somebody with the best of intentions would snap.

That's what makes his character tragic - he *wanted* to be good, to be great, but he couldn't escape himself.

//Hello there anon! I actually agree with most of what you said, but I'll actually go one step further. Viego wanted to be good but he couldn't be good in a society like Camavor.

From what we've been told in general Viego seemed like a very gentle boy growing up, and the fact that he was kind and caring was seen as something wrong by the Camavoran society, specially for a man. It is, in part, while Isolde fell in love with him, because with her she could be his real self like he could with few others, and she in turn tried to convince him to be kinder be more just , be a better ruler. But he still needed to put on a mask, pretend to be strong, pretend to be manly, pretend to be the ideal King of Camavor. Hell, a developer mentioned something along the lines of his favorite food being chicken, but in front of the soldiers he pretends it's beef, because they'd look down on him otherwise.

The tragedy isn't just that he wanted to be good but couldn't escape himself, is that he couldn't be a good king in Camavor because to be a king of Camavor meant you couldn't be good.

Honestly there is a discussion to be made as to why Viego, despite everyone considering him a weak boy, and not representing the Camavorian ideals until he forces himself to do so, managed to actually survive the ceremony to determine if he was worthy to wield Sanctity.

Viego was, even at a young age, a very powerful mage so you could say he was simply 'strong' enough to survive the ceremony, but they also make clear it's a judgement of character, one needs to be essentially chosen by the sword as fit to rule. And the sword saw Viego as fitting indeed.

Did it see what Viego could become if he followed the Camavoran ideals and choose him? Did it see that Viego actually didn't represent them and chose them for that reason? Am I simply overanalyzing something that could have been a trial which Viego just had to 'tough it out'? I truly do not know.

He sighs long and hard, this question had been asked before of him and he frankly couldn't care less about it, but it seemed like the common folk would not stop until he gave them an answer, and so he gave the answer that was given to him by other people who cared more about this than he did.

"My weapon, Sanctity, has the power to rend souls apart, to be stabbed by it means to have your soul ripped apart at the same time your body is being done the same. The 'Sacred Water' of the Blessed Isles work the opposite, supposedly powerful enough to bring someone back to life." He explained in a bored tone.

"When my...my Isolde she...when I was stabbed with my own weapon, my soul was being torn apart, yet this was while I was standing in the Sacred Water, which tried to heal my wounds. The constant back and forth created a Feedback Loop, I was torn asunder and healed a thousand times over, until the energy was too much, and exploded outwards, creating the Black Mist and the Shadow Isles with it"

"Oh they absolutely love violence, my kids looove Dragon Ball Z, you'll just see them scream along as someone gets punched in the face, or gets a hole blasted through them. Nanako, my oldest girl, specially loves it, she has practiced throwing Ki blasts so much"

He rubs the back of his head and chuckles. "I know consensus is that it's not the best to let kids see such violence, but honestly I'm a crime boss so I don't have the moral high ground on violence being bad. Plus, fuck the consensus. "

"Oh! That is actually pretty clever. People must have figured out all the psychological shit way back, so it makes sense people use them to create characters that fit the shows and audience..." His ears perk up as he had a thought.

"Do you think that Pingu's Claymation works that way as well? The inherent softness of claymation making the show feel charming, and subvert whenever it gets a bit more violent?"

"Oh! That is actually pretty clever. People must have figured out all the psychological shit way back, so it makes sense people use them to create characters that fit the shows and audience..." His ears perk up as he had a thought.

Tiger wifey flops onto lap.

She is in tiger form, feels lazy and like cuddling.

Despite owning several Tigers, some of which were Strawberry Tigers, he could recognize his wife instantly, and as he flops in his lap he begins to gently pat across her back and caress her chin.

"Long week , mi vida? It's alright, you can rest, I'll give you a nice massage" Smiles and scratches behind her ears.
