Another adopt redrawn in my style. Dubious sighthound thing. Still undecided on name.

I've had a bunch of dog adopts sitting around on my Toyhouse for a while, so I've been trying to translate them to my art style. This one (tentatively named Syllabub) is a mixed breed who works as a performer for a traveling circus, possibly set in the 1800s. Their fur is naturally fawn and white, but they dye it to achieve a more fanciful look. I envision their build is akin to an old-style dachshund, with some spaniel features.

Zinoviy Golubov, a borzoi-laika mix from Krasnoyarsk, Russia, who performs as a character soloist for a prominent classical ballet company. He has a fiercely individualistic worldview, and holds himself and everyone else around him to impossibly high standards.

Updated design for Gulzar, because I was not satisfied with his original design. I decided he should be an Afghan hound mix, so he gets a lot more feathering this time. Made him look older too, he's supposed to be in his late 40s. And he gets a fancy little collar!! In this house, we love fancy dog collars!! Some lore tidbits: Gulzar of Isfahan (also known as Gulzar Esfahani) is a royal astrologer from 1600s Safavid Iran. As a prominent court advisor and close confidante of the reigning Shah, he has often been vilified by subsequent generations for his corruption and entanglement in courtly intrigue. Being one of my historic OCs, he isn't really connected to any other characters I've posted so far, though he does have his own associated cast of characters I hope to draw someday. I have to keep a lot of his lore close to my chest for the time being, since I'm playing him in an rp game, but someday I'll be able to say more about him.

Mosca Del Verme is a Milanese fashion designer and botanist from an aristocratic family, serving as the creative director for a major Italian fashion house founded by his great grandfather during Italy's post-war economic boom, and achieving some minor fame for successfully cultivating a rare species of corpse flower that has become extinct in the wild. Born weak and sickly, he was treated by his family as an object of scorn for his frail constitution and sensitive personality. Ever eager for his father's approval, he grew up to be a very cruel and callous person, though he could never perform that strain of traditional masculinity that his father tried to drill into him by taking him out on game hunts. Though he might be the Del Verme heir, he has never earned the genuine respect of his high society brethren, and in following his father's footsteps, he's managed to push away anyone who might have felt sympathy for him in the past.

Haven't done an anthro piece in a while, so here's Mimori and Mosca on vacation somewhere along the Italian Riviera. My favorite part of drawing anthro art is getting to dress them up in silly little outfits, but it's also the worst part because I have to sit down and actually design those outfits. Mosca in particular doesn't like to show a lot of skin, so his clothes are based on vintage women's beachwear.
