In the movie, Chappie’s birthday is on 15th November. Happy birthday, boy :) You are and always will be on of my most favorite and adored characters, because you never gave up.

And in So the first big picture of this year is Epsilon, interesting. I am in quite Chappie mood and wanted to figure how to draw Scouts more simple so I won’t got crazy because of it, but it will still look good. I wanted to go for more comic book style and not to try make them look too realistic, because it takes so much god damn time to draw them. So I decided to draw Epsilon in pretty colorful way. Also, that is bat on his shoulder, I want him to get one as pet in the story.

Oh god the exams are here, oh god, the time of the year is here again and sadly it’s not second Christmas. I draw when I study, it helps me to be focused and relax, and I wanted to draw Chappie, Chappie with Deon to be exact. I never really bother to draw Deon as Scout, because those robots are so time consuming to draw and i used to swear a lot by drawing them, but I think I’m getting a grip. My comic style is sruely looking good at them.

This pic has quite a sentima lvalue to me, because I mention in stories so often that Chappie stays with Deon during nights. He is a robot, he doesn’t sleep, but Deon is practically still a human, his mind was not created like Chappie’s one. So he sleeps and sometimes has some nasty nightmares, so Chappie hangs around during the night. I just find it as a very sweet concept that he looks over his father like this. He is doing it even in the current state of story, because he is just used to be with Deon at night. Sweet.

Well, it’s some time since I drew something Chappie related. And since I was studying for my exam, I told myself I want to draw Chappie, and something more than little sketch. I wanted to draw something colorful and digital. also, I never drew Epsilon in full picture. I just made a small pic with him, that was like a refference. Who is Epsilon you ask? That is quite simple, Epsilon is a character that I introduced into my Chappie stories. He is practically Chappie’s brother. Not a mary sure story. He was created by Deon to protect Chappie at all costs and make him company, in case something happens to Deon. Let’s say ugly things happened and Deon wanted to be sure Chappie will have someone very close even if Deon fades away. Also, Deon is a human here, or it seems so. I shouldn’t be drawing spoilery stuff, but I just can’t get over Deon and his curious robot sons. The cutest, but the most weird family. Remember boys, be home at 9 o clock.
