no, I wasn't planning on writing a sequel for fumble to fable, I think it stands nicely on its own :] I *was* working on a different desert duo fic last year but I moved on to different pairs after a little while and stopped writing (for now). might come back to it some day, or a different desert duo fic since they still make me insane sometimes, but I don't have anything planned for the moment.

I'm happy to hear you'd like more from it though, I assume you liked it 🥰

Content for the Carry On Countdown can be just about anything you desire to create! We encourage fanfiction, fanart, cosplay, memes, songs, playlists, crafts, etc. The prompts are completely up to your own interpretation and can be used in your content however you like, but if you’re confused or have any questions, please send us an ask.

Lola: Hey besties!! I’m Lola from @dragoneggos and this is my first year as an admin for countdown, and I’m super excited!! I had such a fun time participating last year, and I can’t wait to see what we all do this year!!

I'm rereading Carry On again after years of barely thinking about it (gonna follow it up with a reread of Wayward Son and then finally get to Any Way The Wind Blows for the first time), and it's making me so happy :') seeing the writing with fresh eyes, recognising things I made posts about, remembering the good old carry on fandom days :') I'll always cherish those memories and it's so great to be reminded again.

Hello hello! The time for the annual 2021 Carry On Countdown is finally upon us. If you’re new to the event, welcome! The Carry On Countdown is a fandom hosted, month-long ‘countdown’ to the beloved Chapter 61 Snowbaz anniversary for the Simon Snow Trilogy by Rainbow Rowell.  The event begins on November 25th and features daily prompts to help inspire all sorts of fan-created content as we draw closer and closer to the anniversary date on December 24th.  

In order to give everyone who wishes to participate enough time to prepare, the prompt list for this year’s COC will be posted a month before the event begins, on October 25th. Content for the Carry On Countdown can be just about anything you wish to create! I’ve been in the fandom and have been obsessed with snowbaz since 2017, and I’m so thrilled to see what kind of cool and sexy things everyone creates for the COC this year <3  

Mishti: Hi guys!!! This is me, Mishti, from @makedonsgriva and I’m so so excited to be a part of the countdown for the first time!!! It just feels so cool that I am getting to be a part of this beautiful custom that takes place in our fandom every year, and I hope everyone has a blast!!

We also have the addition of 3 ghost admins who will be working very hard behind the scenes of the COC to ensure everything goes well. We are all so excited for this event to begin! 

This is the 6th consecutive year that the fandom has hosted the Carry On Countdown and is the first COC to occur with the entire, completed Simon Snow trilogy! Carry On Countdown 2020

Announcement + Introduction

Hello everyone, it’s that time of the year again! The Carry On Countdown of 2020 is drawing near. (And this will be, in fact, the fifth year that we’re doing this event!!)

For everyone who is new to this event: the Carry On Countdown is a fan event for the Simon Snow series by Rainbow Rowell, in which we have a 30 day countdown to Chapter 16 Day. For each day of the countdown there will be a prompt for which you can create fan content, that you can then post on the day of that prompt.

The event will run from November 25th until December 24th. The daily prompts will be announced a month in advance, on October 25th, so you can start preparations early.

By no means does participating in this event mean that you have to complete all the prompts. Really just participate in however many days you please. However, the people who do manage to complete all prompts get a special spot on our “Page of Honour” once the event is over.

This year we once again have a lovely group of admins, who will be running this blog during the event. So here’s an introduction to the four of us:

Anna: Hello! I’m Anna from @sncwbaz, which used to be my full-on carry on blog in the early days of the fandom, but is now more used as a multifandom blog. I’ve helped run this event every year since the first year, and I’m very excited to help run it once again!

Raegan: Hi babes! I’m Raegan from @carryonmylovelies, which is my beloved snowbaz blog, and I’m absolutely thrilled to be an admin for the Carry On Countdown this year! I love the countdown very much and I cannot wait to see what this lovely and talented fandom creates. Mwah! 

Rox: Hello!!! I’m Rox from @hekissesme and this is my second year as an admin for the event!! I’m really excited to be here this year and to see everyone’s work! 

Sophie: Hi! I’m Sophie from @absolute-nightmare and I’ve been in the fandom for about 3 years now. This is my first time being an admin so I’m very excited to help out this year!

We hope that everyone is as excited for the countdown this year as we are, and we would love it if you’d spread that excitement!
