I like the contrast between propaganda. Sometimes it’s “tee hee, i like them :3” and sometimes it’s an eight paragraph long dissertation on how they’re objectively the hottest character in the known universe. The duality of tumblr users.

Sunder (Transformers IDW)

"Alright. Let me explain. So around 2005 or so, IDW began publishing transformers comics, one of the most beloved becoming "More than meets the eye" starring a few wacky robots and their adventures. Standard transformers stuff. But here's the thing. Unlike most pieces of media for this franchise, the target demographic for these comics are older folks. Teens and adults. So this means the most batshit, insane things happen in this series specifically. One of them being sunder, a former autobot surgeon turned serial killer. Sunder is a mnemosurgeon, a special kinda surgeon who's job with needles that pop out of their fingers, is to go into the minds of others, via injecting said needles into their neck. The surgery was supposed to help with trauma by altering memory. Intended to help with things like amnesia but uh.. due to lore reasons WAY too large to put into a summary for this blog, sunder went fucking insane and started killing people, and also eating their memories. (also he was the top mnemosurgeon before losing it) Consuming their "sins and lies" and what not. He also can alter the memories of others to make them forget how to transform, turning them inside out, among other horrific things. There's a lot I'm leaving out here since It's so much, but If you wanna know more, check it out yourself. Summary over, here's my propaganda. One: He's an interesting character with some pieces of his lore ambiguous. Lots to dive into. two: HE IS AN ABSOLUTE FREAK. IN LIKE THE BEST WAY. (He even wrote his idol's name on the walls in different languages, he is smart. man in stem.) He says spooky shit, breathes heavy, seems to almost never close his mouth in any panel he's in, steam hisses from his mouth. and I know for a fact some of you are into this kinda shit. ..I cannot really explain myself with this one beyond this. He gives me very clingy energy and almost like a feral, shaking chihuahua. I dunno bro. What do you want me to say? he's a cool character, and also I want him. Now."
