thinking about mlp has made me miss when shows would release weekly. Those days in between episodes let you digest and really think about them. So many times I’ve watched a show that dumps all the episodes at once and at the end of the episode I knew that if the fans where left there for a week so many cool fics would’ve been written with the fans imagining possibilities but because we see what happens next that doesn’t happen.

And the theorizing and guessing! That doesn’t really get to happen as much either. It make work for some shows, but for most it’s just shortening their life spans, robbing fans of the looking forward over multiple days to watching the next episode.

like I like when he's intentionally and unintentionally kinda blunt and rude LOL he has a good heart and he's caring but he also calls Amy dense and messes with Sonic and maybe doesn't always think before he says things

either the music is too loud and the dialogue is too quiet

or the actors talk TOO DAMN FAST AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY'RE SAYING

i especially have an issue with older movies where when the talking is regular it's soooo quiet...but then i turn it up and it gets to shoutin and action scenes IT'S SO LOUD. so yeah subtitles.

i tend to only put subtitles on for like second viewings since i will try to watch it completely as best as i can but if i watch it again and i wanna know everything i might've missed idlaoue wise i will throw in the subtitles.

Why do people need subtitles to watch a show in English? I don't get it. What is wrong with the ears of young people?

If you watched the Knuckles series ( by the gods you should have pirated) and enjoyed it:

They were luring you in with the cute cartoon character you love, to use him as an accessory, a prop to another's story, and a very distasteful one. It's not just that the writing lacked Knuckles centric plot, but that it was done so a white Israeli cop who probably also fits an antisemitic stereotype ("cowardly, weak, a loser") would get mild character development, done by a company that supports Israel among other awful things.

People have the right to be mad their fave characters that typically represent an oppressed group are being used as a prop to the oppressive figures. Don't come at me like this is all innocent.- the US police train the IDF. What purpose would Wade serve?
