If you're in the midst of a trial, be encouraged, sweet friend. God promises to bring you through it. He also promises that you will be more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ who loves and died just for you. Living with cancer can be a debilitating experience that can lead to intense thoughts and feelings. Fear, sadness and anger are some of the primary emotions that immediately affect cancer patients. Anxiety, dread, vulnerability and depression can occur on a daily basis. These feelings can be created by major ongoing thoughts, uncertainty, questions and concerns about cancer treatments, life changes that may result from stress with family, friends, work, and daily routines. Had to #Repost this one (not a day goes by that I don't feel the same way) Thank you @risanare_cancer_survivor with @repostapp ・・・ This is the thing that gets me most. Survivors guilt and watching people go through what I went through only to not win their battle. It's not fair and I don't think it will ever not bother me. I just try to live every day as full as possible and laugh and cry my way through. To anyone who has lost someone recently, my heart goes out to you ❤️️

It’s difficult to be joyful during trials, but we can take #hope from the fact that God will use difficult circumstances to help us reach maturity. #Faith can grow in times of trial when difficulty arises in our hearts for the light of #God to touch us. #CANCER, it's #diagnosis was #lifechanging, no doubt about it, but it does not mean it had to consume me. 💙PERIWINKLE BLUE💙 "Many people believe you're supposed to just pick up exactly where you were before you first heard the words #youhavecancer. You head back to work after you're off months on disability, and pick-up where you left off, except nothing seems normal anymore. It feels like you've stepped into the twilight zone and what most #cancersurvivors like to call, #Cancerverse, for many of us, life isn't the same in the post-cancer world. Physically, you might be dealing with the after effects of chemotherapy or radiation, not to mention the fight back after surgery and the worry of "is it coming back"...And then there's the emotional effects! Yes, by God's #grace and #mercy you've defeated cancer and "by His Stripes you are healed" and that is certainly reason enough to celebrate and get your praise on! But emotionally you're mentally and physically drained just trying to stay healthy and praying for the day you reach that 5 year mark!!!
