tumblr may be like the 3d television. the only people telling you how much you’d love to have a 3d tv are the people selling them, and even they know the ship is sinking.
for me tumblr has always been difficult to grasp; it doesn’t really fill a void. there’s facebook, twitter, and instagram, etc. so what am i posting on tumblr that I’m not just syncing or duplicating??? too many options drive me crazy and make me anxious. i own one black belt and one brown belt (out of necessity). i own one denim jacket and too many sweaters, and you know something I end up wearing the same two sweaters all the time. but if I look at things objectively, options are a good thing - #yolo right?
i’m thinking about tumblr objectively now. I want to make it special and useful. I promise to try and post things directly and clear, and things you won’t get on my facebook page or anywhere else. the best part of all is I get to keep up with your posts. so bring on tumblr round 2, 2014.
