Creaking farm is done!

Made it taller to add another heart to increase resin chances. Trident killing chamber and pistons on 3 sides of the logs so it gets as much chance at making resin as it can. The redstone is embarrassing to look at, the spawn proofing was a pain, but it works well! Now I just gotta make it look better lmao

It's currently floating above my house so I might make it into a huge custom tree? Just make sure to spawn proof?

So I didn't like my creaking farm I did yesterday so I fully redid it to make it more efficient. It's only got one heart going right now but figuring out the redstone (not using a tutorial) was uh a challenge.

There also may have been a few problems because I forgot to spawn proof...

So hermitcraft is why I got back into playing minecraft and pushing myself to learn more about the game (learning to build, redstone stuff, etc.)

I have progressively been adding more hermits to my watch list but like Scar has my heart. He's just so cute and watching him always has me grinning.

10/10 would love to watch star wars with him.

I DID RESTONE! So idk if this is even gonna work right but uh I watched a tutorial yesterday and decided 'screw it, it can't be that hard' and decided to try to do it all by memory today. (The tutorial was for only one heart so I also kinda improvised which is never a good thing for me)

I am just waiting for the sun to go down to see if I messed this up.

EDIT: IT SPAWNED ON TOP OF THE GLASS, I AM IN DANGER.

Update #2 minor spawning issue. Mr creaky #2 decided to play in the redstone but it's fine. I can fix that tomorrow. It does work! Not to newbies, SLAB EVERYTHING. Creaking can spawn on glass and jump scare the heck outta ya.

I'm apparently great at forgetting to post things place (no wonder I didn't make it as a youtuber/twitch streamer) but I have turtles now (as of like a week ago)! The phantoms were also super excited to watch them hatch.

Today I hunted down the pale garden, not facing my fears of the creaking, and got 2 hearts to make a farm! I really love the look of the resin blocks.

Turns out my afk spot under my sniffers wasn't as safe as I thought it was.

But! I got a skelly horse out of it so no complaints here!

Moxxi and Loki have become the best of friends and she's really settled in here. My precious babies ❤️

Also it was my birthday on the 19th! Moxxi kept climbing all over me trying to eat my cheesecake lol

So I took my spookier building I was making for a animal pen and turned it into my storage/nether building! Personally I think it looks fantastic.

It's so nice to be properly organized again but now idk what to do with my old storage area.

Yesterday i met some shivery Bois and sliced at Blaze toes for a bit, got a stack and a half of rods so hopefully I won't have to return for a while.

Today I found a skelly spawner and now I'm slicing at their toes too. Do I need their drops? Not really. But I like that I can say i did it now.

Redid my melon and pumpkin farm for the 3rd time. I think this is finally it lmao

Also ran put of quartz mid way through my pumpkin on so I braved the nether. It's a lot less scary when you just avoid open spaces and tunnel everywhere lmao.

Tomorrow I risk going against blazes for the first time in a very long time. Managed to trade a piglin and got a fire resist potion so hopefully 3 minutes is enough.

My goal is blaze rods and nether wart. Then I'll never have to come back lmao

Whoever said creepers are scared of cats is a liar. This guy had to walk past 2 cats to get to my storage room, where another cat is, and he was just chilling.

Also! Went on an adventure and got my first ever sniffers! Built them a farm so I can collect the drops automatically. Grabbed some glow berries for my bridge in the worst lush cave I've ever explored.

Also did you know that powered rails and activator rails are not the same thing? Yeah learnt that today. Felt super stupid.

And lastly my current build. It was gonna be an animal pen for cows/sheep/pigs but idk, I kinda really like how spooky it looks. Maybe I'll move the sniffers there instead.

Today I did a bridge and not gonna lie, currently in the 'trust the process and have hope' phase.

I do everything in survival, and don't test out builds beforehand so really hoping this turns out well. It definitely looks better with the leaves so definitely think details will make it better.

Also yes those front posts are suppose to have trap doors like the others. I just forgot them.

Been playing a little less minecraft this past week as a new furry baby joined my home. This is Moxxi, my baby girl, she's about 9 weeks old.

Also her and my other furbaby, Loki have bonded so quickly. He's constantly playing with her and caring for her, even grooming her. It's honestly so sweet to see as he's been an only cat for 2 years and I was worried he wouldn't like her (we have dogs upstairs but it's not the same)

Moved and upgraded my farms. Left is sugar cane, right is melons and pumpkins. Also figured out the redstone for the crafter (thanks to tutorials on youtube) so melons are auto crafted into their block forms.

If you have suggestions on what kind of buildings I should build to hide these, please let me know. I'm struggling lmao

Next worked on more terraforming. First was an empty spot that led into a cave that I covered, turned into a pond and decorated.

Next was the entrance to the cave I lit up, covered over and am working on turning it into a little lake. There's a waterfall between the two.

Trying to learn how to use the crafter to automatically make melons from my farm is hurting my brain.

It doesn't help that all the tutorials are like 'do this, this and this and it's done.' Like please explain what things are doing to me like I'm a 5 year old.

I've got a very basic understanding of how the redstone stuff work, I need a lot more guidance lmao

Made a new building for my villagers with spots underneath for my animals!

Comparing where they lived before, definitely a big upgrade.

Yesterday and the day before I worked on my house interior a bit and brought home some new friends! Still working on the interior (any suggestions are welcome!) But today I'm working on a better area for all my animals and my villagers.

Also, I never posted it before but I have a roof now. Word of advice, don't add a bee farm to your roof it makes building around it difficult.
