I cant believe Im saying this in the year of our lord 2025 but what I really want out of a Jurassic Park movie is a

PREQUEL

There are two islands and we all know damn well they failed a lot figuring out how to make dinos the first time and had significant canonical (books) problems.

Give me a nice old lab/facility horror with the underlaying message being that OHSA violations are written in blood--if your stupidly rich asshole boss thinks he can make money, you are nothing more than a number for him to use and discard. Play into a loyalty plotline, a mlm almost culty feel (think gaming companies who tell you that you should be paying them the privilege to work for them and that you can be replaced in ten minutes)

JWR sold me on the mutant designs (I mean they were always mutants and idk why people act like the literal, core & central plot point of "so we filled in the gaps with what worked and uh oh, thats causing problems!" Is new) And let's be real, 80s/90s nostalgia is big right now.

Plus you have a built in horror ending of the the company chosing to go forward with the park, John Hammond still happily cutting corners, and it rolls right into the first JP movie. With his fucking grandkids involved.
