So what if they have Logan Lerman be the voice over for Percy in the Disney+ show? Cause like isn’t the book supposed to be from older Percy’s POV?

Headcannon:

Once Percy and Annabeth make it back from Tartarus they both have nightmares and end up switching to sleep together. Sometimes Percy goes to Annabeth’s room as she’s screaming and panicking reliving the curse from Calypso, other times Annabeth goes to Percy’s room as he’s reliving Tartarus appearing. Sometimes they’re reliving other experiences but whoever has the screaming fit first is the one who’s bed they stay in for the night. Even Buford the table stops screaming at them because he realizes they’ve been through some shit.

Eventually someone suggests they just start sharing a bed at night so they can be well rested enough for their daily trials throughout Greece. They both nervously chuckle and stutter and don’t really answer but that night at lights out Percy knocks on Annabeth’s door to say goodnight like he always does and as he turns to leave she says “please stay.”

He looks at her and sees in her eyes that she’s as broken as he is and he agrees and it’s the first time since the pit that they both get a good night’s rest with no nightmares.

Percy HAS killed and we’re still like that

Headcannon:

Percy is the little spoon.

It started because having Annabeth protecting his back and therefore his Achilles spot made him sleep a lot better. But after it went away he still preferred to be the little spoon, because it made him feel safe, because sometimes he didn’t want to have to be the big scary demigod saving the world, because sometimes it’s nice to know that someone who loves you has your back.
