LISTEN, león's from monterrey, which means one thing. he is NOT used to cold weather. anything below 15C is just way too fucking much for him, he'll be wearing scarfs and a sweater and a jacket. which means that being out, and basically living on his car was absolutely hard for him, and it's a genuine miracle he is alive.

I used to think it was impossible for anyone to just vanish, but I’ve been up in the wilderness. There’s so much of it, and it’s so ancient, it doesn’t care about anything but seasons. León and Naveed were close, really damn close, absolute best friends that don't need to talk to know what the other needs. And when they split during the events of season 4, there was a huge fight, so after coming back León didn't really knew what to expect. He had the press conference and once that was over he saw Naveed and they just ran towards each other. Naveed spent the entire next week hugging León every chance he had, and it was just like nothing had ever happened.

After disappearing for nearly three years, León Pavia emerges back into the public eye with a complete new season. Following the trail of the mysterious Lune Rouge Cult, León guides us into the mystery of this urban legend and shows us weather they are all true, or not.

there’s a tiny smirk that quickly spreads through his lips, brow raising as he pulls out a bottle from the bag hanguing from his shoulder. “ thought you’d NEVER ask. ”

This was supposed to be a big break, a big event. That was why it took them so long to choose the topic, they wanted it to be epic, even bigger than season three. So the day León arrived with a bunch of information about a mysterious, legendary cult, Naveed already had his camera out. They knew they had found the subject of their next season.

It start off as per usual, doing the biggest amount of research they managed, a long process that eventually led them to the location of someone who had supposedly left the cult a few years prior. And that was all they needed to hop into a car and may their way to them, weather this person spoke the truth or not, is still debatable but some of their stories matched what León later encountered.

If Naveed got asked ( and he did ) he expected this to be no longer than a few months, maybe a year. And he definitely didn’t expected it to turn as problematic, borderline dangerous as it ended up being.

They had been on the road for eight months, only hoping from one clue to the other, unable to genuinely know weather this was all fake or not. And it was on the night of October 10, after they had just successfully escaped running away from some people who clearly didn’t wanted them to dig any deeper, that Naveed called it quits. This had turned into something far more dangerous than originally planned and he wasn’t going to risk it, he begged León to do as him, but it was a little too late for him, he needed to know more.

Two months later, the alert of the disappearance of León Pavia hit the media, only for him to start being treated like a cryptid. Pictures of him on different parts of the country showing up on social media. Meanwhile, he continued with his research, getting deeper and deeper into what the cult was, until he finally found it. They were located deep in an abandoned small city, all the member living together at what seemed to had been some kind of farm.

He found his way in, and while doing so he found Anel, the one they seemed to call the Lune Rouge, the one they venerated. To an untrained eye, she was no more than a simple girl, but if you stayed long enough ( like León did ) you would start noticing the peculiarities, the magic she had, and how terribly unhappy she was. So with nothing else to loose, León decided to help her break out of the cult. It took him weeks, but eventually they make it out, alive somehow. The last episode of the season ends with a one on one interview with Anel, her face covered with the same red fabric she would use while on the cult, and the softest voice that happily answered all questions.
