Haverly: I mean, I think it has? Not sure, I was mostly concerned with why it ended IN THE MIDDLE of the season because it so clearly was not a season finale episode that I watched. But I guess they took a mid-season break for whatever reason and the second half of the season is airing in a couple of months. BUT if that's how it's going NOW how long until I get a second season?
Haverly: But I guess it's just the drama of it all? Like this one dude literally broke up with his girlfriend AND GOT WITH HER LITTLE SISTER! And if you think that's bad, it gets worse. He's with the little sister now AND IS STILL IN LOVE WITH THE OLDER ONE 😬😬😬
Chastity: It ended in the middle of a season? That sounds highly unusual and kind of rude. For the actors and writers and everyone involved in production, it seems just polite to let them finish a season. I'll pray it won't take too long for you to get that second season!
Chastity: ...As someone with a little sister, that is one of the most horrible things I've ever read. People watch that for entertainment? That one paragraph made me ill!

Haverly: Okay, so I was hesitant going in because I'd never seen the original so I thought I was going to be super lost, but like, I'm lowkey hooked on the Gossip Girl reboot and a little bummed that I won't even get new episodes until NOVEMBER!
Haverly: Why does tv do this to me?
Chastity: I've never seen the original either -- or the new one, for that matter -- but TV always does seem to leave us hanging on good shows, doesn't it? I've been waiting a long time for Locke & Key Season 2. At least the new Gossip Girl has been renewed, right? What is it even about if you don't mind my asking? How much gossip can one girl have? And doesn't she know it's impolite?

Claudine: flirting?? oh ... maybe?? if so, i feel bad because i had no clue
Chastity: I don't think you need to feel badly about it if that's the case! Just because someone flirts with you does not mean you owe them anything. Besides, it's just a guess on my part. It's not as if I'm any good at recognizing that sort of thing either so take it with a grain of salt.

Claudine: Yeah, all names here are interesting! So I wonder what makes ours draws attention? And I can't really tell if that's a good thing or not either.
Chastity: Perhaps the person who said your name sounds like frozen yogurt was flirting and inviting you out to frozen yogurt together?

Callen: Of course. I know we’re not in a rush but we have so much to get done and I’d hate to not only delay us but also to make you wait around for me.
Chastity: You don't ever have to worry about that! Waiting around to talk to someone with a good heart about something so potentially beneficial to so many is a fantastic use of my time and honestly, the most social I get, so I very much appreciate it.

Callen: I’ll be there in 5 min. If not, read this again.
Chastity: Thanks for letting me know! And please, take your time. We're not in a rush. After all, we have a few months before this event comes to fruition. Planning can handle losing five minutes or so!

Claudine: I think it's because of our last name. It's.... interesting to explain to people.
Chastity: What's strange is I didn't think Frollo would sound that odd. Especially with some of the other names around here. Not that I'm judging anybody, because I'm not! It's just true that some surnames around here sound... fake.

Claudine: did you know that people think we're named after frozen yogurt?
Chastity: They do? Why? I don't think I've ever seen any frozen yogurt flavored named "Claudine" or "Chastity". Unless you mean that they think Frollo sounds like froyo of all things?

Please let me know if anyone does find and return it! I’d very much like to know how it all turns out. Trash bins have a funny way of pulling important items towards them when they shouldn’t be thrown away. Before I graduated, I had been studying for an exam and accidentally threw my notes away with my napkins – it couldn’t hurt to ask if anyone saw a notebook in a bin when they were taking the trash out at the end of the night or something. Of course, that makes sense, and I’m really glad that you didn’t leave your bag with you. Could you imagine if you had left that to save your spot and that went missing? It’s a good thing it was just the notebook, not that your things missing at all is anything to celebrate. But it’s good that it wasn’t worse than it is.
The gardens are probably my favorite part of the castle grounds, they’re usually much quieter than the rest of the grounds so it’s perfect when you’re looking for something a little more secluded. You know, a change in scenery sounds perfect actually. I might have to take your advice and do just that, thank you. And I can’t recall the last time I went for a walk on the beach? Do you go to the beach often?
I’ll keep you updated! So far, I’ve yet to hear anything but hopefully that’ll change very soon! And oh my goodness, that’s absolutely horrible! How did you end up doing on the exam, if you don’t mind my asking? I can only hope that if I’d left my bag, that would’ve been harder to either throw away or pick up on accident, but yes, I’m celebrating that as a small miracle. Not that there really was much in my bag, if I’m being honest. It’s not as if I have a laptop, and while I do have a phone, those are highly replaceable.
You’re very welcome! I hope you find someplace absolutely wonderful that gives you peace of mind and a break from it all. And no, not really; I went to the beach not long after I came to Auradon for the first time though and that’s something I think about all of the time. There was just something so beautiful about it, you know? The ocean looked so dark and foreboding and dirty when looking at it from the Isle, but from Auradonian beaches, it’s the opposite; it’s vast and sparkling and dreamy and inviting and sometimes when times get stressful, I just close my eyes and imagine that view again and I’m fine again.

I am so sorry to hear that your journal is missing, Chasity. And thank you for describing it in such great detail! I’ll keep an eye out for it and let you know if I see it around anywhere. Have you checked to see if maybe it accidentally ended up in a lost and found bin or something? Also, was anything else taken from your table or just that? I hate to assume that someone stole it, I really hope it’s just a common case of misunderstanding and someone thought it had been left behind, but if anything else was taken, then it looks like it might be the former.
As for summer plans, I don’t have anything fun to report, unfortunately. Although I did manage to go for a walk in the castle gardens and the roses were blooming nicely. It might be a good distraction, if you’re looking for one. Walks have always done wonders for my mood.
Thank you, Ben! I appreciate that. I was hoping that the detail might make it easier for people to return the journal to me so let’s see what happens. I’ve got my fingers crossed. I did check the lost and found of the Crownbucks I was in, but that does make me think I should’ve checked the trash bins too so maybe I’ll go back and ask about that. Nothing else was taken from the table but that’s also because there was nothing else on the table. I took my phone and my bag with me to the restroom and left the journal both because it’s so large and also to hold my spot but unfortunately it didn’t quite work out that way. I loathe to think we have a thief in our midst either and I’m praying that that’s not the case.
A good walk through the castle gardens sounds very fun to me! I like to go for walks to clear my mind too and the more distracting the view, the better. And I’ve heard famously good things about the roses in your family’s castle, so I’ll have to give that a go this summer. Have you thought about finding a new surrounding to walk amongst, if just for a day? How do you feel about walks on the beach, my King?

Hello, I hope you’re all having a wonderful summer. I don’t mean to complain but something rather distressing just happened. I’ve been hunkered down at the Crownbucks in Auradon City and when I took a brief break from my table to use the facilities, I came back to find that my Bible Study Journal was gone. I’ve had that journal for a long time and it means a lot to me, so if you accidentally picked up a thick journal with light green flowers on the cover from a table at a coffee shop, please take the liberty of responding to this, publicly or privately. Also, please respond if you happened to be in the restaurant and saw what happened, or if you have ideas as to how to track it down. And if none of those things happen, well, I just hope whoever found my journal needed it more than I do; perhaps it was the Lord’s way of ending up in your life and if so, that’s amazing.
In the meantime, I’d be very grateful to anyone who could distract me from fretting about my misplaced journal, so what are you all doing to enjoy your summer?

if Christianity wasn't an option which religion would you believe in?
I’d have to study other religions a little bit better to better answer this question, in all honesty. They all have their strengths and weaknesses but I don’t know them well enough. I will say I’ve always though Judaism seemed interesting.

who do you wish to become friends with?
I wish to make friends who have open hearts and kind spirits. Truth be told, I’d give just about anybody a chance to be my friend, so long as they weren’t the sort of person who tried to force their lifestyle onto me, because I would never try and force mine onto them. I think that by keeping the door open to as many possibilities as possible, we meet some incredible people that we didn’t see coming. For example, I wouldn’t have thought someone like @robbshood would ever want to be my friend, but he has extended so much patience and optimism my way and I’m so blessed to have him in my life. All that to say that if you’re looking for a judgement-free friend who cares very deeply about your well-being, well, I’d recommend me.

do you wish your sister was more religious like you?
None of my hopes, prayers, or wishes ever include changing my sister. @claudine--frollo is perfect just as she is. Growing up the way we did, I don’t think anyone could argue that we didn’t experience religious trauma; I ended up finding solace in finding the healthy way to worship and connecting to God in a manner that I discovered for myself, and Claudine copes the way she does, and there’s no wrong way to cope. I do believe that regardless of whether or not Claudine believes in God as much as I do that our God loves her and that He’s looking out for her. She doesn’t need to be religious like me for that to be true.

Claudine: It would be a very fun activity for all of us to bond with each other again. I do miss the group being together. It just feels a little awkward since everything came to light. Although that very well could just be how I'm feeling.
Chastity: The only way to know is to ask. And thankfully, awkwardness's best cure, time, comes for all of us. I'm still very proud of you for being brave and telling your truth. Not many people have that strength, and there's no way God would punish that strength by taking your friends away for good. Maybe it's just an opportunity for growth and strengthening the bonds you have.

Claudine: thank you, chastity ❤️ oh absolutely if i ever to go to my first party it would be one that was coordinated by my friends. we're close enough to one with half of us because of study groups and we've all got partners that we'd bring along too.
Chastity: You're very welcome, I mean it with all my heart.❤️ Now that you mention it, you and your friends throwing a party over the summer sounds like a fun idea! Maybe you ought to.
