Adrien, Chloé and the cats

One fatefull night, at midnight Adrien and Chloé were asleep after an exhausting day of moving furniture, unboxing their stuff and sorting everything they got into place,the pair fell asleep as soon as their heads touched their newly made bed.

A loud cry through the night and Adrien woke up alarmed, cries so loud and clear he could swear the source was right there in their room. He could tell by the sound that it was a kitten crying. The Heart-wrenching sound made him wake up and so he went to find the tiny baby kitten that clearly needed some help.

Chloé remained unfazed as he walked off and into the living room, he couldn't see a thing besides city lights and the dark sky. He opened the door leading to the balcony, pieces of wood, a bag of cement and a few dried leafs. He looked outside, the building tops around their apartment and again no sign of a kitten, he could hear it, but he just couldn't see it. Then he heard a weird sound coming from the floor, a crunchy sound, as if someone was stepping on the leafs... and he found her.

A tiny grayish kitten looking up at him with the cutest blue eyes, they reminded him of Chloé's eyes. The kitten stopped crying as he picked her up, she could fit in his both hands from how small she was. She must have been a few weeks old. Adrien smile at her and took her inside. He fed her some canned tuna and warm milk, wrapped her up in a cozy blanket, a few hours later Chloé found him asleep in the couch, drooling with a baby kitten safely tucked in his arms as she too was asleep.

They kept the kitten and named her Vivi.

Why I ship Chlodrien

Adrien x Chloe, this is a ship that throws nearly the whole fandom into disgust and with screams of, why. But honestly, this ship appeals to me and this is just a few reasons why.

I feel that Adrien and Chloe could really understand each other in a way that no other person could. They both come from wealthy families, their parents are famous and important people, their superheroes, but above all else the family issues they face - both of them know what it’s like to have a parent you feel doesn’t love you, that they don’t care, that they’re always too busy, and someone you can’t really talk to. Adrien and Chloe can understand wanting their approval, recognition, to be noticed by them, to make them proud, and just to be with them; have quality time together, because they both have gone through it. Not to mention the hurt of not having such important family not be present during their lives. And when one is still a child, that is, of course painful, even if you get older, it can still hurt.

This can serve as a method for Chloe and Adrien to have a very healthy way to have open and honest communication with each other, to build trust, to have a support system - a person who can truly and I mean truly understand you in a way that no one else could possibly; in a way that you don’t even have to speak, they just know because they have lived through the same thing. And this can also be a great way to bond and heal open wounds.

And with all the horrible things their parents have done, their parents will have to pay for their actions no matter how much it hurts. (Chloe calling her mom out on how she has treated her or It being revealed who Hawk Moth really is, for example). Yet, despite all this they still love their parents despite all the grief they have put them through. Knowing that yes, they have to pay, but it still being painful to see a loved one in such a situation because nothing changes the fact that they’re family and they will always love them, no matter how big or small that love may be, no matter how much pain or confusion or questions, is mixed in there, as well. And that’s okay and completley valid to feel that way. They are and should be allowed to feel that way. I think no one else could understand all of this better then Chloe and possibly Adrien (depending on what the writers decide).

Not only that, but Adrien could help Chloe become a much better person and Chloe could help Adrien too. (Let’s be real, as Cat Noir, he acts as a very different person - more outgoing, more confident, and flirty). Chloe could potentially help Adrien to become more like who he really is inside and not have to hide behind a mask because who cares what others think. We’re both fabulous and perfect the way we are lol.

Plus, these two have known each other since kids! How cute is that! Imagine all the potentially cute sceanrios. Adrien clearly values Chloe as a person and as a friend. He has stood up for her many times and was even so sad when he thought she left Paris for good. And despite the obvious crush Chloe has on Adrien and her ‘I’m better than everyone’ attitude, this girl does have a heart. it’s obvious she does care for Adrien in her own way. She may just have a hard time showing it in more healthy and subtle ways, than how she always pounces on him. Lol. If Chloe was such a horrible person, I doubt Adrien would keep being friends with her. I mean we pretty much saw this in canon. But Adrien knows her in a way that no one else does. And he knows the real Chloe that no one else bothers to see behind all that snark and attitude; his first friend who was most likely there for him a lot.

Just, guys, this ship has so much potential to be something, so deep, complex, and real.

It’s why I ship it.

How Adrien and Chloé spend the quarantine:

- They finally have time to sleep since they are schedules are usually super tight with fashion shows, company meetings (With the headcanons of Model! Adrien and Businesswoman! Chloé)

- Adrien orders a ton of cute toys and a castle for their cat. A watermelon hat? Yes, tiny chanel booties for the cat? Absolutely. A huge cat castle? A neccesity. Their cat didn't like the castle soo, Adrien was upset

- Chloé and Adrien decide to decorate their apartment and repaint it. It takes them some time to paint all the walls and of course at some point they end up playing with paint themselves. You know, splashing painting all over their hair and cheeks and end up laughing and kissing.

- Chloé attempts to make banana bread yet somehow it ends up not so good, but Adrien eats it anyway.

- They buy a ton of clothes and dress up with their most extravagant and weird clothes. That super fluffy dress Chloé wore once years ago, that sequin cowboy hat Adrien got from a fashion show and a sky blue oversized suit. They ask their insta followers to drop prompts for their little fashion show and they have a blast.

- Chloé begins to doodle and Adrien starts to get interested in pottery after watching a hundred videos of it on instagram.

- Chloé finds her old diary from when she was a kid and reads her out loud on dinner time, her younger self talking about how her best friend Adrien was sooo adorable. Adrien blushes like a kid.
