ฅ^._.^ฅ synopsis: you’ve never allowed yourself the pleasure of love. you had bigger things to worry about of course, like fighting villains. it wasn’t after meeting a certain feline hero that your heart had changed.

“Maiyu! On your right!” Yelled Cat Noir. You quickly turned to your right to see the akumatized villain preparing to strike. You instinctively dodged their attack and ducked under them, kicking their legs and tripping them. You secured the villain by holding them down as Ladybug caught up to you and Cat. She then destroyed the akumatized object and freed the Akuma as her miraculous ladybugs repaired the damage. “Pound it!” The three of you say. “Another successful mission” you thought. “I’ll return the civilian home,” said Ladybug as she yoyo’d away with the formerly akumatized villain in her hand.

“Good job today m’lady,” said Cat. “Thanks,” you said shyly. You had a crush on Cat. Ever since you began fighting villains and using your powers for good, he’s been on your mind. He was charming, charismatic, and kind on top of other things. “How about some ice cream?” Cat asked. “The night is still young,” he grinned. You were flustered by his sudden offer but of course accepted. You would’ve never expected Cat to ask you for ice cream. It was such a spontaneous offer. “Let’s make it quick though, okay? We could detransform any minute now,” you mentioned. “Anything for you m’lady,” he said. “You’re such a flirt,” you mumbled before Cat suddenly swooped you up in his arms. “Hello what?!?” You shouted. “It’s quicker this way!” He winked at you.

You felt your face get hot as you felt your cheeks blushing. “This is just what friends do, right? No way Cat could be interested in me,” you thought. Nonetheless, you set your thoughts aside and accepted the situation you were in, laying your head on Cat’s chest as he navigated the city with his stick. He smelled… nice. You smiled. Cat seemed to notice too. “You comfy?” He asked. “Yeah,” you blushed. Cat was the sweetest.

You had reached the ice cream parlor. Cat gently set you down. “Wait here, okay?” He said as he walked over to the parlor. “2 cones please!” You heard him say as he got closer to the ice cream man. You waited over by the bridge. Cat was quick. You saw him walk over but he only had one cone. “He was about to close, but we made it in time. He only had one cone, I hope you don’t mind,” said Cat. “No troubles, as long as you got my favorite flavor,” you said. “Of course I did,” he smiled as he offered you a spoon. “So why did you want to get ice cream all of a sudden?” You asked, scooping the ice cream. “Well.. I actually have something I wanted to tell you…” he confessed. You got nervous. What if he was going to tell you something you didn’t want to hear?? What if he hates you and thinks you’re useless?!?

You were overthinking now. You took a breath in and calmed yourself. “Yeah.. what is it?” You asked with a straight voice. “I… I like you Maiyu,” he said. You were stunned. Cat.. likes… me? No way. You were silent, trying to process this information. “I-I’m sorry, I didn’t meant to make you uncomfortable, it’s okay if you don’t feel the same,” said Cat nervously. “No no! I’m just trying to process this,” you said. “I like you too, Cat,” you told him. The two of you made eye contact. There was a comfortable silence. You couldn’t believe he liked you too. You were beyond excited and your heart was beating way too fast.

With the excitement followed fear though. You knew you couldn’t be with Cat. You knew the risks. “But Cat. You know we can’t be together,” you said. You broke the eye contact, looking over at the water. Of course this news devastated you. “I know Maiyu. But… we can keep this a secret right? Ladybug doesn’t have to know and neither do the other miraculous holders,” he said. You thought about it. If you didn’t tell anyone, then no one could be upset, right? “Do you think it’ll work?” You asked, a part of you was fearful. Cat took your hand and held it to his heart. “Of course m’lady. We can overcome anything with our love.” He reassured you with a soft smile.

“But we don’t even know each other’s identities.” You said. “I don’t care! I love you mask on or off. You’re the only lady for me!” he exclaimed. Your heart melted. You knew in the back of your mind that this was foolish, but love changed your heart. Cat looked so passionate and you just couldn’t refuse. “I want us to work,” you said. “Me too,” said Cat. Silence followed. You enjoyed just being with Cat, no words even had to be exchanged. You felt as if you could read his mind and he could read yours. It wasn’t until your miraculous’ began beeping that the two of you departed from another. You exchanged a warm hug before parting ways.

You got home not long after. “Longg, open sky,” you commanded as you detransformed in your room. You fell to your knees and squealed. “Oh. My. Gosh. Longg!!!! Can you believe that?!? Cat Noir is in love with me too!!” You said, squeezing your legs together. “Y/n, I’m so happy for you, but you know this is not allowed,” said Longg. You sighed. You obviously knew this but decided to reject the thought. “Longg, let’s not focus on that,” you said. “I’ve pushed back happiness and love because of my role as a superhero and holder of the dragon miraculous. Can’t I be happy just this once? Plus, he’s a superhero too. He understands me.” You said. Longg sighed. “I will put aside my feelings on this topic for you, but y/n I need you to know this is not allowed and if you get caught, then you will be in big trouble,” said Longg. You smiled and gave Longg a hug. “Thank you Longg! You’re the best Kwami ever!” You said. Longg smiled a fake smile.

The next day, you received an urgent call from Ladybug. She requested you meet her on the top of the Eiffel Tower and without hesitation, you leaped out of your window. Upon your arrival, you saw the other miraculous holders including Cat. His presence alone made your heart flutter but you concentrated on Ladybug and the situation at hand. “Finally, I have all of you here,” said Ladybug. You were confused as to why everyone was here but deemed it as a serious situation since Ladybug seldom called for all of you in one place. “We have a serious problem on our hands,” Ladybug explained. “I’m going to need the cooperation from all of you. Monarch has nearly half of Paris under his control and his army is only growing. We need to find the original Akumatized villain that is infecting everyone else and destroy the akumatized object. I’m going to need all hands on deck,” said Ladybug. Everyone nodded, sparing words as to quickly head out for the mission. “Divide into groups, I need one group rounding the infected civilians and another evacuating the city. Maiyu and Cat Noir, come with me to find the original Akumatized villain,” commanded Ladybug.

Cat grabs your hand. “If anything happens, I love you.” Said Cat. You held his hand. “I love you too, now let’s go,” you said. You jumped off the tower and followed behind Ladybug with Cat on your tail. You first searched in city hall to no avail. There was only a cluster of zombie-like villains. The three of you fought off the villains, almost succumbing until Rena Rouge’s group came and held it together for you guys. “Any luck?” Asked Ladybug? “No! The villains are increasing and our attacks seem to be useless. We’re going to need everyone in once space to fight them all,” she said. Ladybug furrowed her eyebrows. “Rena, use your mirage to fight off some villains as I get the other group,” said Ladybug before she hooked her yoyo to a nearby building.

“Mirage!” Rena called. She had created several clones of herself to fight the infected civilians. Rena’s group began fighting as did you and Cat. One by one, the villains began attacking your group but you guys held off. It wasn’t until Rena’s mirage faded that you guys were defenseless again. “Ladybug, where are you?” You groaned as you were pushing a villain away. You looked over to see Cat, he was fighting off 2 villains until you noticed a third one. “Cat! Look up!” You called. You rushed over to Cat, fighting off the other 2 villains on his left and right as we got the one above him. “I have to go recharge!” Said Carapace. “One man down,” you thought. “Make it quick!” You groaned kicking a villain off of you.

Ladybug had finally arrived with backup. Your team was complete now. “Everyone go recharge!” Commanded Ladybug. You all abandoned the villains you were fighting and went to respective hiding spots. “Longg, open sky.” You detransformed and fed your Kwami. “What’re we going to do?” You asked holding your head in your hands, sinking down to the ground as Longg ate. “Y/n, please be optimistic,” said Longg. You felt like crying. You were extremely overwhelmed and fearful. This was the biggest attack you’ve experienced since getting your miraculous. You sighed. “Y/n, I believe in you,” said Longg. You wiped your tears and nodded at Longg, trying your best to fake a smile. “I have nothing else to lose,” you said. “Longg, bring the storm!!” You exclaimed, a wave of courage washing over you.

You leaped from the ground and onto a rooftop. You spotted Ladybug already fighting and went to join her as did the other miraculous holders. You began fighting again, using your powers whilst trying to keep an eye on Cat at the same time. Things seemed to be going well for you guys. With Ladybug’s battle IQ and everyone’s strength combined, you guys cleared off the villains after a long battle. You sighed. “That cannot be all, right?” You asked Ladybug. “It doesn’t seem like it. That was way too easy. I believe there’s a bigger storm coming,” she said. You gulped. “What can we do?” You asked. “Everyone, stand by for now!” We don’t know what Monarch has in store for us, so it’s best to stay alert,” she said as you all nodded.

Your met eyes with Cat which lowered your guard shortly. “Are you okay?” You asked examining his body. “Yes, are you?” He asked. “I’m better now that you’re here,” you smiled. “Me too,” he replied. Deep down you were scared for the outcome of this battle and you could tell Cat was too. “After all of this is over, let’s get ice cream. You and me,” he smiled. “I wouldn’t have it any other way,” you said. You held his arm, leaning your head into his chest. “Whatever happens, I love you.” You said. You then heard a loud bang. You and Cat looked up. It was monarch - in the flesh. You gasped, your heart sinking.

This was your first time seeing him in person. His presence itself was haunting, but you were determined to take him down. “Let’s let this be the last time we ever see Monarch,” you shouted to the other heroes. They all nodded and prepared for battle. Monarch seemed to have accumulated an army. He must’ve expanded his powers, you thought. “Everyone, be on high alert,” shouted Ladybug. “Monarch is unpredictable, he may be using ex-akumatized villains to fight his battles,” she shouted. You nodded at Ladybug and prepared for battle yet again.

All of a sudden, a swarm of villains greeted you all. You charged at the nearest villain. It was Manon in her old akumatized form. You remembered fighting her so this should be easy, right? You began attacking as did the others. It was going well at first, you were winning. The others seemed to be successful as well. You had hope. It wasn’t until you saw Carapace fall. “Carapace!” Rena shouted. She immediately ran to him, abandoning her villain. “Rena!” Shouted Vesperia. Rena’s villain, stormy weather was now free, leaving an extra villain open with no one to fight them. You gritted your teeth before landing a giant blow on your villain, paralyzing her for a bit. You ran over to Rena and Carapace and swooped them away as they were about to get crushed. “Get your act together!” You shouted before running back to your villain.

Things were getting overwhelming now and just as you thought it couldn’t get worse, you saw in the corner of your eye, Pigella. She had fallen. You gasped. You were stunned as you saw Purple Tigress run to her side, leaving the two of them vulnerable. You couldn’t help them. They were too far and you had to fight your own Akumatized villain. The others were overwhelmed too. You unwillingly took your gaze away from them, hoping Purple Tigress could figure something out of them.

You were slammed by Manon’s akumatized persona. You crashed into a nearby building. “Maiyu!!!” Shouted Cat. “Don’t worry about me!” You said as you saw Cat was about to run to you. You couldn’t have him risking the mission to save you. Little by little, all the other miraculous holders began to fall. Monarch’s plan was working. His trap was working. It was now just you, Ladybug, Cat Noir, and Rena Rouge. You wanted to cry. Wanted to sink into the ground and go to sleep. The fate of Paris was in your hands but you guys were defenseless. You had nothing. Ladybug called her lucky charm.

The object seemed to be no help to the battle. Ladybug was take aback. She frantically looked around, hoping the lucky charm could give her a hint or clue as to how it was supposed to be used. You began hyperventilating. “We’re all going to die,” you said looking down. Tears welled up in your eyes. “And I won’t be able to be with you any longer, Cat,” you mumble. Cat ran to your side. “Maiyu,” he said. “Please be strong.” You cried harder. “We’re defenseless, can’t you see?!?” You shouted. “We’re all going to lose,” you said, practically bawling now. After all, you were just a teenage girl. You couldn’t handle all of this. “Maiyu, please. Whatever happens, I love you,” Cat said wiping your tears. You looked up at Cat. He wiped your tears and kissed you. For a split second you felt at peace. If this was your last moment before death you wouldn’t have minded it. “I love you,” you said caressing his cheek. “I love you too, Maiyu. Now please, let’s be strong.” Said Cat.

You hadn’t realized Rena and Ladybug were staring. “We will be discussing this later,” said Ladybug. She frowned at the two of you before she yoyo’d towards the villains. You squeezed Cat tightly before following Ladybug. “Whatever happens, I love you,” you said. You jumped into action, going total berserk mode. Freeing one villain after another as the adrenaline pumped in your body. “Leave. us. alone!!” You yelled as you slashed the villains one by one. Even with your great efforts, the villains plus monarch’s powers were too great. After all, there were only four of you left.

You broke down. “There’s no way we’re going to survive this,” you thought. You lost all hope. It wasn’t until you saw Cat, completely being obliterated by villains that you felt a sense of urgency again. You were enraged. The love of your life was being brutally overpowered. Your tears fell heavily. “Get away from him!” You shouted. Cat looked up at you as you jumped over him to fight his battle. You took down one of the four villains surrounding him. Cat was shouting at you but you ignored him, your main focus being to kill everyone that hurt your lover. It wasn’t until you decided to listen to Cat that you realized you had made a mistake. “MAIYU NO!!” He shouted. “IT’S A TRAP!!” He said. You were confused. Until you looked up.

It was Monarch. Standing over you and Cat in all his “glory.” You thought quickly. You knew Monarch’s main goal was to get Cat and Ladybug’s miraculous so you knew you weren’t as big of a priority to him compared to Cat. Monarch was about to use his villain pawn to send a final blow onto Cat, stealing his miraculous and then moving on to Ladybug as she was also overwhelmed in battle. Just as he commanded his akumatized pawn, you grabbed Cat, making a last minute decision. You threw Cat with the last of your strength to a safer space. Your mind went blank. Your body stood frozen as you now had no idea what to do. It wasn’t until you made eye contact with Cat. “MAIYU NO,” he screamed. It was extremely loud. You saw him running towards you but it was too late. You knew Monarch’s finishing blow was about to hit you. “Whatever happens Cat Noir, I love you.” You said smiling before closing your eyes and accepting your fate. “NOOOO,” you heard Cat scream. That was the last thing you heard. The love of your life’s painful scream.

ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ syn: being a superhero was super important to you. So after having a fight with you “co-worker” chat noir, and recent development of feelings for your classmate Adrien, your superhero and normal life shift to an imbalance.

Your mind has been a complete mess all week. First, you get into an argument with Chat which led to many missions including snarky remarks, cold shoulders, and several eye rolls. On top of that, there was a rumor that your superhero persona, Plumera went on a date with Adrien Agreste. Not only did this shock all of Paris, it shocked you too. Ladybug was not in the least amused unlike all the other fans of the ladyblog. She scolded you and told you to be more careful in situations involving civilians. It seemed to be personal for her though since she never freaked when I saved “normal” people. You figured she was probably just another Adrien Agreste fan. But out of all the citizens in Paris you could’ve saved from the Akumatized villain, Adrien just had to be the one. Although people don’t know you exist as Plumera, which luckily means you won’t be swarmed by Adrien’s fan girls, you still felt guilty about your little so-called “date” with Adrien.

One of your best friends Marinette was hopelessly crushing on him, and once she found out the news about your encounter with Adrien she was not happy at all. You could practically feel her anger from across the classroom as she ranted to Alya and begged her to take the post down. You snapped out of your thoughts as your teacher dismissed class. You laid on your desk, feeling defeated about the recent wave of stress as your classmates all started packing up. You were scanning the classroom until your eyes locked on Adrien. You groaned. “Not this again!” You said shoving your head in your hands.

Recently, you’ve developed something of a crush on Adrien. It wasn’t anything serious, you just thought he was cute and a nice guy as well. After all he was literally the most sought after boy in all of Paris. Of course guilt followed these emotions as you thought of Marinette. You looked over at Adrien and saw Marinette and Alya who were approaching Nino and Adrien. Of course you knew you never stood a chance with Adrien so you never cared to pursue him. But deep down, you had to admit you were just a little jealous of Marinette. After all, she’s been crushing on Adrien for months now, you wouldn’t do that to her anyway. Even if you had a chance with Adrien. You sighed and packed your bags, quickly walking past Adrien and leaving the classroom.

Adrien POV:

I thought about the new report on the Ladyblog, the one about me and Plumera. I couldn’t stop thinking about it, not just the report but also that night itself. I felt so free, freer than I’ve felt with, well.. ladybug. I couldn’t believe I was thinking that, after all, ladybug is the one I want, right? But Plumera, something about her just..

Before I finished my thought, my classmate y/n stormed past my friends and I. Something about her caught my attention, and I watched her leave the room. I knew y/n was a good friend of Marinette but i never really got the time to talk to her. I’m always saving people from akumatized villains or forced to be at home anyway.

“Hey Adrien, are you listening?” I heard Nino say. “O-oh yeah, sorry, just kinda in my head,” I said with a nervous laugh, scratching my head. “I swear I love the guy but he can be so blonde sometimes,” Nino said pointing at me and laughing. The attention towards me slowly died down and I looked out the window again, seeing y/n walk out of school.

Your POV:

You walked home as usual, listening to your music and enjoying the sunny day. You thought about literally everything going on in your life right now. At first you thought about Chat. You had missed him although you were upset. He was a really good friend and you guys could joke together even during the hardest of missions. You sighed. “I guess I should talk to Chat, right Roaar?” You asked your Kwami. “Y/n let’s forget about him and go for Adrien! You haven’t been your cheerful self lately and I’m getting bored!!” Your Kwami said.

“But I miss Chat a little, he’s one of my best friends.” You said with a sad face. “I just want you to be happy y/n. If talking to Chat will bring back your happiness, then that’s what I want too!” Said Roaar. You smiled. “I love you so much Roaar!”

You decided you were going to call Chat tonight and settle things. Once you apologized, you would stop feeling sorry for yourself. You quickly finished your homework and chores before transforming and calling Chat. “Hey Chat, you probably won’t get this, but please meet me at our rooftop.” You left the message, unsure if he would get it but nonetheless you hoped.

You leaped out of your window and headed straight for your designated meeting space. You sat by the ledge where you and Chat would enjoy ice cream after missions while ladybug was away retrieving miraculous’ back. You had been waiting for 10 minutes and about to give up before you heard something behind you. Turning around, your eyes met with Chat’s. His eyes were soft and sorrowful. “Plumera…” he called, his eyes avoiding yours.

“Chat… you came,” you said a bit surprised. “You called.” He said. His voice was still and calm. He had a slight smile and a soft gaze in his eyes which immediately melted your heart. “I’m… I’m sorry I’ve been avoiding you lately. I was just so upset about what you said that day.” You explained. “No, please don’t be Plumera. I should be the one apologizing. I should’ve never said what I did. I respect you as much as I do ladybug and we’re both really happy you’re on the team,” he said. You stared at him, unsure of what you should say next. “My feelings got the better of me and I let them get in the way of our… friendship.” You explained. The word “friendship” hurt to say. You wanted more than a friendship with Chat but he was so obviously infatuated with ladybug. Silence ensued before you started speaking again.

“I have feelings for you Chat.” You confessed, clenching your fists tight. “For a really long time now. And I let those feelings control how I felt.”

Chat looked at you. He was silent for a while which made your mind spiral. His face had a blank yet shocked expression. You couldn’t believe you had just confessed to Chat. “Plumera, I didn’t-“ Chat said before you cut him off. “No. You don’t have to say anything or return your feelings. I just wanted to explain to you where I was coming from. I know your heart belongs to ladybug so I won’t bother you with my feelings any longer. I hope we can still be friends.” You said, fighting back tears. You gave him a fake yet hopefully reassuring smile.

“Plumera… I- my feelings for you have been complicated lately. For the past few days I’ve been thinking about you. I couldn’t stop thinking about you. I couldn’t stand you being upset at me, and most of all I couldn’t stand the fact that it was me that made you upset.” Chat said. You could tell his words were sincere and that he was serious. He had such a warm expression on his face which made you feel better. He was always very genuine with his feelings and so thoughtful of others despite his cocky personality.

You thought about what he said - about how he couldn’t stop thinking about you. For all you knew no one really thought about you. You always saw yourself as an average person aside from your hero identity and even then, ladybug was always in the spotlight. You let the silence fill the space for a moment. “I thought about you Chat. I couldn’t stand being away from you either,” you said. You looked over at Chat who was already looking at you. Your eyes met and the two of you sat there in silence, just staring into each other’s eyes. You both exchanged a soft “I understand” smile.

Chat broke the silence. “Uhh well! I heard about your little date with Adrien Agreste,” Chat blurted. “He’s just some spoiled nepo baby, nothing fun about that but all the girls fawn over him,” Chat said. “Seems like you really have it out for that kid.” You replied. “It wasn’t a ‘date’ but you could say I enjoyed it to a degree. He’s actually not a spoiled brat. He’s genuine and kind,” you said, not realizing you sounded just like a lovesick fan. Chat didn’t say anything. It looked like he was deep in thought.

“Well… we better get going though, it is pretty late,” you interrupted his thoughts. Chat stood up and you followed. He had a sorrowful look on his face, like he almost didn’t want to leave. “You do need your beauty sleep, whiskers,” he said teasingly. “You’re still calling me that?” You asked. “If the name fits,” he chuckled. To be honest, you really loved the nickname Chat gave you, although you pretended to hate it.

“Goodnight kitty,” you replied. As you turned around to leave, you felt a hand tugging on yours. You turned around to face Chat before he pulled you in for a hug which was the last thing you expected but nonetheless you accepted it. You knew it was just Chat being caring and friendly, but you couldn’t help but be a little selfish with this affection. You rested your head in his chest and shut your eyes. Your mind drifting to the night with Adrien before Chat pulled away. “I-i’m sorry Plumera I didn’t mean to-,” you cut Chat off. “It’s okay kitty,” you grinned. “It was… nice.” You winked at him before jumping off the roof.

Chat POV:

After making up with Plumera, it felt as if a weight left my shoulders. I couldn’t shake off a certain feeling though. Plumera still encompassed all my thoughts. I thought after making up with her, things would go back to normal - I would go back to normal. Clearly that wasn’t the case though. Plumera suggested we get home soon, but I didn’t want to leave. I wanted to stay with her longe and just talk with her. I could do that for hours. Before we left, my mind just took over my body. I gave her a hug and it felt amazing. I felt safe and like time had just stopped.

It was a little strange having Plumera save me the other night as Adrien and even weirder talking to her about it like it wasn’t me. I wondered if she had that feeling in her heart like I did, the one where it’s all warm and fuzzy. As Adrien, I could start fresh with Plumera. At least she was never angry with Adrien. After all, it was my superhero persona that upset her. Maybe as Adrien, I could get closer to her and settle this feeling in my mind and heart. That wouldn’t be as weird as Chat Noir pursuing her, right?

Your POV:

“Roaar, stripes off.”

You fell onto your bed, shutting your eyes the moment you felt the softness of your pillow land on your face. You groaned. “That worked out better than I had expected,” you said to Roaar as you turned to lay on your back. “No more hard feelings right? No we can focus on Adrien,” said Roaar. “But… I think I still love Chat,” you replied. Roaar sighed. “But he’s in love with ladybug. You have to respect that,” said Roaar. It’s been a few days since you’ve last talked to chat; a few days since he made it clear he only sees a duo in your superhero trio. Although you and chat are always yapping during missions, things have been quiet lately. You only talk when needed during battle, or to respond to ladybug, and you leave immediately after the mission is done. Even though chat has tried calling for you, you can’t stand to look him in the eye.

“I’m not in love with him anymore roaar! I’ve decided that he’s no good for me. I deserve to be loved by someone who’s not obsessed with another girl!” You angrily said to your Kwami. “But y/n! Ever since your first mission together, you’ve always been pining over chat.” Replied roaar. “Well apparently he was pining for ladybug the whole time. I can’t disrupt that. They’re really cute together and I think they’re meant to be.” You replied sadly. Roaar just sighed as she knew there was no getting through to you.

Adrien’s side:

“Plagg, I’ve really messed things up with Plumera! I don’t think she’ll ever speak to me again. I feel really weird about it. Since it was me talking about ladybug and I as a duo that made her upset, i haven’t flirted with ladybug in a while. Whats wrong with me?” Adrien said as he plopped down on his bed. Plagg could obviously care less about romance, but he always replied to his owner as he cared for him. “Blah blah blah, you’ve had feelings for ladybug since forever Adrien. You’ve always been in love with her so why does Plumera matter now?” He asked while scarfing down his favorite cheeses at once. “Well… I don’t know. All I know is that I really hurt her feelings on Monday, and I can’t seem to get her to even look at me anymore. I miss our jokes and her sly remarks!” He said, letting out a sigh.

“Just go for what your heart desires or whatever.” Said Plagg, rolling his eyes. “But I don’t know what I desire anymore. I feel strange after what happened on Monday. Although I’m in love with ladybug, seeing how upset I made Plumera really upsets me. Do you think what I said had to do with something personal?” Adrien asked. “As I said, do as your heart desires Adrien. If you love ladybug, then you love her, but if you think Plumera is stopping you from loving ladybug, then why not think about your feelings for her and go for her? Maybe you’re starting to love Plumera. Sometimes Adrien, you realize that your favorite cheese ever starts getting boring. So try other options and maybe you’ll find your perfect snack!” Said Plagg. “But me? In love with Plumera? She’s just a friend Plagg. Just.. a friend.” Adrien said with a bothered look on his face. “In love with Plumera…?” Adrien said to himself.

Later that day:

It was currently 6pm and you were just finishing up some homework and the last touches of a school project with roaar before you heard a loud boom. Looking out your window, you saw a villain shooting black arrows at helpless couples all across Paris. She had a boy in her hands but you couldn’t identify who it was. “If I can’t have my one true love, then no one can!” She yelled agonizingly.

“Tell me about it girl.” You scoffed before transforming. You leap to a rooftop and begin running towards the villain, before you noticed the boy she was holding was your classmate Adrien. Although you weren’t super duper close with Adrien, you’ve always sort of admired him distantly, never making a move though since you loved chat but also becuase you would never do that to Marinette. You quickly ran towards the villain, your main goal being to get Adrien to safety first. You jumped at her and began throwing kicks and punches, trying your best to avoid Adrien. You could tell in his eyes he was fearful but there was also a gleam, like he was admiring you?

Adrien’s side:

“Plagg what do I do? I can’t transform right now!” Adrien whispered, hoping the villain was distracted. “Just relax Adrien, Plumera and Ladybug will handle it.” Said Plagg. “But I need to be there to help them. And… I also need to talk to Plumera.” He muttered. Adrien sighed as he just accepted the fact he wouldn’t be able to assist in this mission. He hated that more than anything, being left out. All of a sudden Plumera charged at the villain, attacking her. The villain dodged most of all the attacks but would not let go of Adrien. Adrien could tell Plumera was holding back a bit so as to not harm him, which made him feel bad because as chat noir, he knew just how powerful you could be and how easily you could’ve fought this villain, but instead because of him, Plumera wasn’t fighting to her full potential.

Adrien began looking down before he felt the villains grip collapsing. He immediately looked up to see Plumera above him, reaching for him. She grabbed Adrien by the waist and leapt towards a safe rooftop.

Your POV:

You had successfully acquired Adrien and placed him at a safe location. “Please stay here, you’ll be safe until Ladybug, chat noir, and I resolve this.” You said. Adrien seemed to be out of it, not responding to you but instead just staring at your eyes? You were confused. “Hello? Adrien, right?” You asked. “Hmm? Oh yeah!” He jumped a little. “I-I’m sorry, I’m kinda out of it.” He said frantically. You chuckled. “Huh yeah, I would be too. Anyway please stay here. I already see Ladybug so this should be over soon. I’ll come back for you so please don’t go anywhere.” You said. You purposely left him on a rooftop so he had no other choice but to rely on you to get home. Smart, right? You thought. Although you did feel a bit bad for “taking” Marinette’s crush, you assured yourself. “It won’t hurt just to flirt with him a little as Plumera, right?” You thought. “After all, youre not y/n right now, you’re Plumera! Marinette won’t even have a clue.” You assured yourself nervously. You still had a bit of guilt in the back of your mind but brushed it off as you joined ladybug in battle.

Adrien’s side:

“Plagg, it’s time to join the action!” Adrien said after he saw Plumera leaving the rooftop. “Oh come onnn,” whined Plagg. “Didn’t Plumera tell you to stay here?” Plagg asked. Adrien gave it a thought. “I mean.. I guess? But it doesn’t matter, I need to save Paris!” He exclaimed. “I’ll just quickly detransform and meet her here after, easy peasy.” He said. Plagg rolled his eyes and Adrien quickly transformed and jumped into action.

Your POV:

You and ladybug began attacking the villain, both perfectly synchronized. You were successful until the villain shouted “Adrien will be mine!”

Ladybug was taken aback and quickly got anxious. “Adrien? Like Adrien Agreste?” She asked, letting her guard down. The villain pushed ladybug down, ladybug hitting a nearby wall. You grunted, jumping towards the villain and continuing to fight. “I have to go save Adrien!” Yelled ladybug. She seemed extremely worried for this boys safety. “It’s alright, I already have him in a safe spot.” You replied. Ladybug sighed with relief as she quickly jumped back into battle.

Chat noir jumped in and joined the two of you and together, all three of you took the villain down with chat using his cataclysm to destroy the akumatized object. Ladybug used her miraculous ladybugs to repair the city and the three of you put your fists together.

“Well I better get going, I have someone I need to take home.” You said. Chats facial expression immediately changed and he looked very nervous. “I’ve gotta bounce too, see you guys later!” He chucked nervously, quickly using his stick to get by. “Well, I guess I’ll see you later Plumera,” said ladybug. The two of you exchanged nods before you both left.

You jumped on the safe rooftop you left Adrien. You didn’t see him and your heart immediately sank to your stomach. You were mortified, looking everywhere for him. “Hey.” You heard a voice say all of a sudden. You quickly turned around to see Adrien standing behind you. You let out a just sigh of relief and wiped the sweat off your face. “Oh I thought you had left, thank god you’re still here. Very sorry for the tardiness,” you said. “Oh no it’s okay, you didn’t keep me for long.” He replied.

You paused for a second and smiled at him, noticing that he was blushing. “Well thank you for your patience. I’ll take you home now.” you said before reaching for his hand. You dove off the roof with Adrien in your arms and headed for the Agreste mansion. Being this close to Adrien made you really nervous. You knew you would never be confident enough to get this close to him as y/n, so you enjoyed it in the moment. You could feel your crush for Adrien growing as well as the guilt.

“Plumera,” Adrien said breaking the silence.

“Yes Adrien?” You replied.

“Have you ever developed feelings for someone new even though your heart originally belonged to another?” He asked. You were taken aback by this strange question and paused to think. Although you couldn’t quite relate, you wanted to validate his feelings and let him know he wasn’t alone. “It seems like whatever you’re going through is really complicated Adrien. All I know is that emotions can be tough and it takes time to understand them fully, but I want you to know you’re not alone.” You said. “Yeah, thanks.” Said Adrien. “I’m sorry I couldn’t have been more helpful. All I can say is that if the girl you’re developing feelings for resonates with you and cares about you then I think you should go for it.” You replied giving him a smile. “What if, hypothetically, the girl is currently ignoring me?” He asked. “Maybe try and talk to her. If she’s ignoring you because something upset her then talk it out with her. If you truly believe that girl is the one you want to be with then fight for it.” You suggested. Adrien smiled at you.

Adrien’s side:

“As chat noir, I never really got the chance to be so close with Plumera since we were always fighting a villain.” Adrien thought. “I also never realized how beautiful her eyes are, or how strong she looked while battling.” He thought.

Your POV:

You had finally reached the Agreste mansion and gently placed Adrien down at the gate before you two exchanged your goodbyes. You reached your house and detransformed. “What a long night Roaar.” You sighed before jumping on your bed. “You did amazing y/n!” Said Roaar as she hugged your face. “Thank you Roaar! I’m sleeping now.” You said yawning.

The next morning you saw Adrien at school. “Oh dear god.” You mumbled to yourself as the memories from last night flooded back. Luckily for you, Adrien didn’t know your secret identity so you’d be the only one with this memory.

“Yo Adrien I saw Alya’s ladyblog post from last night,” Nino said smirking at Adrien. “What?” Adrien asked confused. “The one with Plumera! You didn’t tell me you were on a date ;)” Nino said. You immediately got on your phone and checked the ladyblog. “Plumera spotted last night on a romantic getaway with Adrien Agreste on rooftop.” Read the cover title. “Ughhh Marinette’s gonna definitely hate me now!” You muttered to Roaar. “Who cares?? You got to be with Adrien that’s all that matters!” Said Roaar. You rubbed your eyes and began walking to the steps.

“Alya take this down right now!” You heard Marinette say. “What was Plumera thinking?!?” She followed. You groaned and hid your face before walking into class. You knew Marinette didn’t know your identity but you still felt bad. You felt as if you betrayed your friend. You sighed and sat down in your seat, taking out your books before class began. “I guess we’ll just have to wait and let this pass over.” You said to yourself before putting your head down.
