I was taking a nap on the couch and from across the room I heard this creepy voice going "ooough" and it sounded like Whitey from Eight Crazy nights and I thought "I'm probably just hearing things" and then I heard "Waawaaawawawawoooooougj" and genuinely thought that someone had stealthily broken in and was making scary sounds in my living room. Yeah uh sorry for any of the bad shit that happened to you but I promise that the stuff you're getting out of any GenAi service can be done in a healthier and safer way with another person. Character AI is a data collector and it will store anything you say to it in it's database. If you're just using it for someone to talk to I'd recommend journaling I guess. Or just venting to a friend. I also have dopamine problems and trouble with addiction & if you really want to kick C.AI just delete your account, delete the app and (not to sound rude) find something better to do. Generative AI is really harmful and anything it tells you is just something someone else has said chewed up and spit back out at you in a slightly different way. I'm not trying to be a bitch but like, honestly it's a really dangerous "service" and using it harms other people as well.

Then imagine it without onions or garlic, not even Maggi cubes to add flavor.

Add to that the absence of oil, lemon, or anything else that balances the taste.

Then imagine cooking without vegetables, and never even seeing fruit at all.

This is how we live.

We eat bread stuffed with a simple mix of lentils we call “duqqa,” or we cook a dish of beans without tomato sauce.

Add to that the fact that sweets have become a distant dream, and drinks are nothing but unreachable fantasies.

We’ve gotten used to eating anything truly anything because we eat only to survive.

My son, Youssef, has never known the taste of healthy, delicious food; he eats whatever canned food we find. He truly doesn’t know what sweets taste like. It breaks my heart he is so very young, and yet he suffers too.

Here, we only suffer, endure pain, get killed, and face extermination in silence.

This is going to be hard for a lot of people to hear but if you want to make your spaces safer for disabled people, then you need to stop assuming malice from every poorly worded post.

A lot of neurodivergencies and disabilities cause people to ramble, lose their train of thought very easily, go on tangents, have disordered thinking, etc. We can get words and names mixed up very easily, lose words entirely, struggle to put our thoughts into actual words that make sense to people, and lose track of conversations. Whether it's from ADHD, psychosis, brain fog, brain damage, or any other condition, thinking and verbalizing ourselves can be really fucking hard.

This isn't malicious. We aren't doing it on purpose to hurt or upset people, and we aren't ignorant about the topic just because we get mixed up. We deserve to have voices, even if we don't always make sense to other people.
