   Ah. . . She worried too much in places that truly warranted no need to worry. Still, he couldn't fault her for worrying: It wasn't like he advertised the fact he was no longer in possession of a human body.

           ❝ I'm not injured, but thank you for asking. ❞

   The offer for food is made known && while it wasn't REQUIRED for him to eat anymore, something in the back of Lee's mind told him that he should take her up on his offer. It'd allow him to get to better know her, which might prove useful in the long run. Especially given the fact that she was being so heavily focused on by the government.

      Not that he had seen any reason TO be wary of her. She might not be from their world, but at the end of the day she seemed just like a normal human. Well. A normal human with magical prowess, but that was besides the point. 

            ❝ A bit of food doesn't sound bad. Lead the way, I'm not picky. ❞

   And yet. . . Lee couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more going on here with her. Perhaps not directly her, herself, but the government. A dark thought crosses his mind, but he quickly dismisses it. He'd wait until he had evidence of such goals before jumping to such conclusions.

     And while he was right, she hadn't forced him into anything; she still just...didn't feel right, with all this "protection" being put on her. She almost felt watched in a way-and not in the best ways. Still...he was right; he didn't have to. But she is grateful.

     ❝ I am all right, thanks to you. ❞ She responds quietly, offering a shy smile. She tried not think of what would have happened...she didn't understand it; she really wasn't worth the trouble.

     ❝ I...know you're capable of handling yourself but...are you injured at all? I know they got a bit rough, too... ❞ The least she could do, if necessary, is heal any gained wounds and the like. ❝ Or. if you are not injured, are you hungry? I can treat us both to some food. I think I could use something after that... ❞

            A small thank you-it's the least she could offer, if anything else.

   Eyes watch her from behind the counter, his hand going up to gently adjust his glasses, before continuing to dry the cup in his hands. There were many benefits to this day job, but the one that stood out the most to Noan was the ability to just simply watch people. Sometimes he even got to interact with them, if they decided to chat the barista up. 

      Yet that one over there. . . She seemed lost in her own world, as she stared down at her phone. Noan couldn't help but notice the fact emerald hues didn't seem to be actually reading the words in front of her, given she had neither scrolled up or down for the past five minutes. He knew it wasn't any of his business. She hadn't said anything the three times she had visited here nor had he ever seen her meet up with someone. However. . . When three visits told so much to the young man && none of this information struck him to be anything good. . . He couldn't help, but just get a LITTLE intrigued in what exactly was ticking in that head of hers.

   A gentle thud is heard as he places the glass down upon the table && he finishes drying off his hands, setting the towel to be upon it's rack. He quickly makes himself a beverage, noting the lack of customers coming in ( Probably due to the sudden torrential downpour outside ) && made his way over to where she was seated.

            ❝ Excuse me, miss. . .  ❞

   Comes his soft voice, he hoping he didn't startle her by him suddenly addressing her while she was so clearly lost in her own head.

            ❝ I was wondering if I might join you? If you don't mind the company that is. ❞
