1. When your cheerleader says she is hurt, as a coach it is YOUR JOB TO BELIEVE HER.
2. Don't change my stunt sequence 5 minutes before we perform and then tell us to get off the mats and not practice it.
3. Even if you do that, don't say it was because my flyer didn't tell you she was hurt when she did multiple times and you didn't believe her.
4. I will trust, protect, and support my flyer to the end of the earth an back. Just remember that when you make an enemy of her.

When coming up with a new cheer routine, we (captains) first think about what the girls know, then what their strengths are, then what we can teach them, and then we end up sitting around watching all of 2013 Worlds and wishing we could pull those things off...

I'm a base, but this is basically the way I feel. I had to sit out a game once and I watched another girl take my place who I KNOW isn't as strong a base as me. I practically had a heart attack. NEVER sitting out again. I don't want anyone basing my flyer but me!
