Everyone always focuses on that first panel but they seem to forget the next ones?????? Do you REALLY think he doesn't know??? Because, to me, that's definetely NOT the face of a guy who 100% knows his father is dead. To me, it looks like the face of a guy who knows, or can deduce, who his father is.

But he doesn't want to believe it. He doesn't want to admit what he thinks. He feels better wanting to remember a fake story. Even if he knows for a fact that it is fake.

Do you guys think about the many sleepless nights Jeremy has spent daydreaming or thinking or actually dreaming of another story?? Maybe his father was a brave soldier who had to do one final mission and he died before he could even meet him. Maybe his father was a really succesful entrepeneur who had to travel to Europe, but his plane crashed in the middle of the Atlantic, and they never found it. Maybe his father was an explorer, who disappeared while on a trip on some unknown island in Papua New Guinea.
