my bummer theory is that Vash really is dead. like, when the gang finally rescue him, he has almost nothing left. Can a god survive if what he represented is totally gone? Can he survive with just one person?

while I doubt Red would go for something this bleak, like how much of a bummer would it be if the person our first protagonist is fighting for literally can’t be saved? It’s tragic. It’s still a thought I’ve had.

I could see this working alongside Kendal’s arc of becoming his own fully-actualized and autonomous person, though maybe superfluous with the development he’s already had.

but hey, every story’s gonna have their grimdark theories I suppose

from being a spelling bee champion in middle school to having to google how to spell “dynamite” because of the god damn my hero academia character even though I haven’t engaged with my hero academia at all I just happened to be on instagram reels in 2021 and somehow the freaking pro-wrestler name (because battle shounen is pro wrestling but for people who are offset like 20 points left on the nerd axis prove me wrong (I say this as someone who enjoys battle shounen)) for the angry blond guy was the spelling that got hard-coded into my brain instead of the actual spelling of the actual word.

I gave him wavy hair for this because he kind of looks like he has it in some of the more recent pages (probably due to volcano humidity) and I was like "oh actually that makes a lot of sense and I love that for him." Because he probably doesn't wash his hair very often and wavy hair tends to get real big and puffy if you don't wet it for a while, so it makes perfect sense for his hair to start getting wavy when he's in a humid environment because water. I was struggling with his hair in my art style for a while so I think this is just going to be my headcanon from now on.

sketchbook drawings of my old people OCs, Umber and Clementine. They have been married for 181 years and are both stupid rich because they are part of their country’s nobility (Clementine is technically royalty), but they are shockingly decent people. Clementine is a retired politician who used to try to get the government to be less awful by asking nicely, but has since reconsidered her methods, and Umber is a medical doctor who specializes in performing amputations. Since the invention of fantasy penicillin, he has mostly been performing free or discounted amputations for poor people who cannot afford healthcare. They have no children and generally live very private lives.

hurgh sorry for not posting for like two months. First I got busy and then I got busier and then my laptop shat its pants. I now have to use my incredibly cheap (as in: of poor quality), virused up, six year old desktop for all my digital art, so if you noticed any of the colors being weird, that's probably why. I lost all my recent art files because I am a stupid moron man who did not back them up, and I had to like, guess what color everything should be.

Anyway I drew this to try to get a better handle on how to draw and characterize these two specific characters of mine because I don't draw or write them nearly enough. The purple one is called Violet, and the orange one is Serën.
