Global warming
Burning fossil fuels
When we burn fossil fuels like coal, and gas to create electricity or power our cars, we release CO2 pollution into the atmosphere.
Australians are big producers of CO2 pollution compared to the rest of the world. Our level of CO2 pollution per person is nearly double the average of other developed nations and more than four times the world average.
Electricity generation is the main cause of carbon pollution in Australia as 73% of our electricity comes from burning coal and 13% from burning gas. The remaining 14% comes from renewable energy sources such as hydro, solar and wind, which do not emit carbon.
Reducing the amount of electricity generated from coal and gas, and increasing the amount of electricity from clean, renewable energy sources like solar and wind, means less carbon pollution is emitted. This is one of the main ways we can address global warming.
Deforestation
Plants play an important role in regulating the climate because they absorb carbon dioxide from the air and release oxygen back into it. Forests and bushland act as carbon sinks and are a valuable means of keeping global warming to 1.5°C.
But humans clear vast areas of vegetation around the world for farming, urban and infrastructure development or to sell tree products such as timber and palm oil. When vegetation is removed or burnt, the stored carbon is released back into the atmosphere as CO2, contributing to global warming. Up to one-fifth of global greenhouse gas pollution comes from deforestation and forest degradation.
Preventing deforestation as well as planting trees, through reforestation and afforestation, are important actions in the fight against global warming.
Farming
Animals, livestock like sheep and cattle, produce methane, a greenhouse gas. When livestock grazed at a large scale, as in Australia, the amount of methane produced is a big contributor to global warming.
Some that farmers use also release nitrous oxide, which is another greenhouse gas.
Australian farming contributes 16% of our total greenhouse gas emissions. Using different and different stock feeds can help to reduce farming's contribution to climate change.

MY STORIES
Mice – eating brothers have 180,0000 fans!
The two brothers from the countryside in China have become popular this summer , not only because they are domesticated and ate this strange animals but also because they always came up with very strange reasons to let themselves to eat them.
For example , they always say ‘oh! They are suffering from heatstroke ,Let’s eat them !’ or ‘This one is in the rain ,let’s eat it first !’ and so on
Because of these funny statement and strange animals they have gained 180,0000 fans on the Chinese video site (bilibili) . watching these videos can help audiences understand the customs from different places and bring joy to them . And also because of their fame , they also bring economic growth to this industry .
You can’t find this dog in your meal
China’s dog meat festival is very controversial in both china and abroad.
Last June 21st , the summer solstive in Yulin ,Guangxi litchi Dog meat festival excited many diners. At the same time the ‘dog dignity and apology’ crusade spread from the internet. In fact , Yulin is located in south of the topic of cancer , the weather is hot and rainy , humidity is serious , the ancients invented to eat dog meat to against the bad weather. However it also promotes the development of dog industry .
These dogs used in dog meat are not pet dogs but special just as pig farms and cattle farms. So don’t worry ! You can’t find your pet in this meal
Recently , fewer and fewer people eat dog meat in china. Particularly not in the central and northern regions .it is true that some people in the south continue to eat dog because of their bad weather. However ,the biggest and longest festival Yulin festival has been cancelled in 2018 because of 3 million Chinese people requested on the internet.
    Do chopsticks bring bad luck?
One noon in October, at a Chinese restaurant in Cambridge , there was a foreigner who stock chopsticks into his meal . This action has surprised many Chinese onlookers. Since Chinese think this kind of food is for dead . And also it is frowned upon to use chopsticks upside down during meals . The so-called “hunger for food” makes people use , implying that bad luck is coming.
Besides these , Chinese still has many taboos. since Chinese has been using chopsticks for very long time , it is connected with their culture . That is way Chinese are very particular about the use of chopsticks.

Difference between china daily news and my tabloid
I think the style of <china daily> is more likely to the boardsheet . There are more news about factual politics . Their news is more serious. Although they also have some news about Chinese food, Their news is more inclined to introduce a dish, a restaurant or to describe the trend of China's catering industry.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
However, my tabloid is more likely to introduce some interesting food , not just about one food ,not to introduce how delicious of this food . I want to let my readers happy and to introduce some unusual food and some hidden meaning or using of chopsticks.
But all of us want to introduce food to foreigners . I think this is the same point . and their language is much better than mine. ><

JUST SOME RESEARCH
History
Human consumption of dog meat is recorded in many parts of the world, including Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania and the Americas. Dog meat has been eaten by Chinese since the Neolithic Era. Dog skeletons have been found at the Hemudu site in Yuyao County, Zhejiang Province, and the mandible bones of dogs have been found at Cishan site in Wu'an County, Hebei Province. The pottery dog was found in the ruins of the second Li culture site in Yanshi, Henan. In the inscriptions on bones and tortoise shells, there are written records of "fifty sheep, fifty dogs", "Qi Ningfeng, three sheep, three dogs, three magpies", "Ding Si-bu, and his father's hundred dogs, a hundred magpies and a hundred cattle". Dog meat is one of the treasures of the banquet for guests of the week.Zhu Hai, the hero of the Spring and Autumn Period, Gao Qian-li in the Warring States Period, Fan Niu, the hero of the founding of the Han Dynasty, and other celebrities were all born slaughtering dogs . On November 25, 2010, an archaeologist from the Shaanxi Provincial Institute of Archaeology discovered a bronze tripod in the niche of a Warring States Qin tomb at the archaeological site of Xianyang Airport Phase II. In this 20 cm high, 24 cm diameter copper tripod still remains half tripod dog bone soup . During the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Periods, before the war between the Yue and Wu kingdoms, women who gave birth to boys received more expensive dogs, while women who gave birth to girls received only pigs. Dog meat culture was widely spread in ancient East Asia. The Japanese ate dog meat before Tokugawa Tsunayoshi issued the mercy of mercy order in 1687. Southerners in China continue to eat dog meat in Guangdong, Guangxi and other places. North Korea and Vietnam also preserve this traditional culture. After the Song Dynasty, "dog meat does not attend the table," it is said that the Song Huizong because his zodiac belongs to the dog, in order to avoid taboo and prohibited. after the death of the Northern Song Dynasty, the Chinese again ate dogs. Compendium of Materia Medica refers to dog meat with nourishing yang, good for kidney and stomach. Most of the agricultural peoples in East Asia have the custom of eating dog meat, while most of the nomadic peoples do not eat dog meat, horse meat and so on. Judaism and Islam forbid the eating of dog and pork, both of which are considered unclean, not only inedible, but also inaccessible to their bodies and blood. Vessels containing their bodies and blood are also considered unclean. Aztecs breed Mexico hairless dogs for food. Hornan Cortiz reports that in 1519 in Tenochtitland, people ate and bred castrated puppies for food and sold them in urban markets. Mexico hairless dogs are often depicted in the Mexico pottery of the former Columbo era. The breed was almost extinct in the 1940s, but in Mexico City Norman Wright, a British escort, found some more in remote villages.
Argue
Dogs are regarded as human companions. In many cultures, dogs are not only assistants in life, but also members of the family. Eating dog meat is considered unacceptable. For example, Tibetans, Manchus and other nomadic peoples in China, as well as the aboriginal peoples in Taiwan, in modern Western culture, dogs are kept in large numbers as pets, regarded as human friends, eating dog meat is generally considered unacceptable. Many people who don't eat dog meat can't understand the eating of dog meat in areas with different eating habits, such as traditional farming civilized areas. Some radical animal protection groups went to South Korea, where dog eating is common, to protest. While supporting the idea of eating dog meat, they insist that the vast majority of cooking dogs are specially bred for food. Eating is not a pet, it is not different from eating meat from other animals. Or consider the taboo of dog meat in other places to be essentially the same religion that bans some or all of the meat. In South Korea, some of the South Koreans who favor dog meat retaliate against critics who disrespect or discriminate against their traditional culture. Westerners who condemn other nationalities for eating dog meat have also been criticized by others, including some Westerners, as cultural imperialism and lack tolerance. Liberals argue that if people object to eating dog meat, they can not eat dog meat themselves. It is a violation of other people's right to eat dog meat to prohibit the whole society from eating dog meat through legislation or government regulations. In mainland China, there are still many people who agree to eat dog meat, and the source of dog meat is looser than South Korea. Animal protection groups believe that, in addition to artificially bred dogs, dog meat is also stolen from stray dogs and cross-regional, and there may be hygiene problems [source requests]. Folk voices about animal welfare legislation and refusal to eat cat and dog meat in mainland China are rising day by day. There are also some official regulations on the grounds of sanitation and epidemic prevention, property infringement and city appearance. At present, public opinion in mainland China believes that the Chinese government should promulgate a law on pet rights, which should regard eating dog meat as an illegal act. Although the draft law has been submitted, the Chinese government has not yet enacted legislation. In Taiwan, in 1998, the Legislative Yuan of the Republic of China passed the Animal Protection Act on the third reading. Article 3 of the Act expressly stipulates that dogs and cats are pets, not economic animals. On January 2, 2001, the Republic of China amended some provisions of the Animal Protection Act. Article 22, paragraph 2, amended the "Pets shall not be slaughtered for such economic purposes as meat and fur" to declare a ban on slaughter. Pets, the following year, in the twelfth law of the law, pets are not allowed to be slaughtered or sold. The purpose of the legislation is to avoid the suspicion of interfering with the right to freedom of eating and drinking, and the source of pets such as dogs and cats that have been sold is the object of law enforcement. In order to avoid legal investigation, illegal dog meat traders in Taiwan often disguise dog meat as mutton or mix it with other meat to avoid police arrest.

FAKE NEWS ABOUT MH370
Nowadays ,there are lot of fake news in the world. Some of fake news just want to make the story funny. However, some fake news rising to the national level will cause people's panic and disappointment.
I want to take a series fake news about MH370.
 First , I want to introduce MH370
Flight MH370 carried 227 passengers (153 from mainland China and 1 from Taiwan), with 12 crew members. On January 29, 2015, the Malaysian Civil Aviation Administration announced the crash of Air Malaysia Flight MH370, presumably involving 239 passengers and crew members.
Second, I want to show some fake news about MH370
1, "media found wreckage report" is not true.
2, "the report on the cause of the crash of the lost aircraft" is not true.
3, "the families of Chinese passengers are under quarantine surveillance" is not true.
4. "It is untrue to find that the body of a rescue garment is found in Malacca waters".
5, "the news of the plane's fire falling over Vietnam" is not true.
Tumblr media
《 People's daily 》said the the plane crashed at the junction of Vietnam and Malaysia.
Tumblr media
CNN said the plane was found 100 kilometers north of Vietnam.
Tumblr media
Xinhua said Malaysia Airlines crashed in India ocean.
not only these......
Tumblr media Tumblr media
this is a news in <daily star> this year
Because of this news, Malaysia Airlines is back to people's vision. And has brought great influence in China.
And of coures, this is a fake news.since chinese people do not know the difference between tabloid and boardsheet and we too focus on MH370,a lot of us believe this news.
What does the fake news about Malaysia Airlines bring?
Emotions affecting relatives can also cause social change because the government needs time to verify news, but reader may not know the truth of the news and spread it too much on the Internet.
This will cause more harm to the family members.
And of course It can bring a lot of popularity to companies who report fake news.
