Here’s handmade plushies of my OCs Henri (ram) and Hong-lei (wolf)! They’re a little over 20cm tall and fit most 20cm doll clothes. They’re fully posable and have magnetic paws, tails, and mouths. Base pattern is by Dollphinwing, everything else by me!

Today is Henri’s birthday! Happy birthday, Henri! Here’s a mini bio of him:

23 years old | cis man | 🇫🇷 🇩🇪

A French-born fashion design student currently in his final year of college. Although he may look like a pretty doll, he won’t hesitate to throw the first punch (or headbutt) when threatened, and has sent people to the hospital after shattering their ribcage. Suspicious of most people, Henri has trouble forming meaningful relationships and would rather be alone than in company. He is extremely protective on the few who have a close bond with him, and will fight for them if they’re ever endangered or bullied.

He is contracted as a freelance costume designer for Hong-lei, the biggest, baddest wolf he’s ever seen, and struggles on whether he should cut his losses and run or risk being eaten for a life-changing amount of money. What’s a cute little ram to do?

Hong-lei has an enormous wardrobe and I found it so relaxing to finally sit down and explore his sense of style! These are based on things he does around NYC, not counting the wusheng outfit.

From winning each competition at the karaoke bar to cruising around the darkened streets on his glamorous motorcycle, Hong-lei loves being out and about, and his sense of style is as loud as he is!

His roots as a singer and actor began in his early childhood as a rising star in the Peking opera sphere. Leaving that passion behind as a teenager, Hong-lei is now the proud frontmen of the American death metal band Sins of the Martyr. Using harsh guttural sounds and unsettling lyrics, his band’s mission is to point out the bloodlust inside of all living beings and kill society’s idea that only carnivorous creatures are capable of “sin”.

His wusheng outfit isn’t complete and is rather rushed, but hopefully I can find time to polish it more sometime!

Henri, usually the somewhat quiet listener, is notably smiling as he gushes about something particular. Could it be work-related? Did something good happen at school? Is he droning on about the meticulously put together outfits he’s constructed as his boyfriend lovingly listens? Things are looking sweet for now, but once they’re done chatting, it’ll get NASTY!

On an old phone, drawing an obscure character from one of my oldest and favourite hyperfixations. I used to draw the Auditores all the time when I was younger, the sketchbooks containing them are probably somewhere in my closest, where they will stay forever...never to see the light of day again. I kinda wanna redraw the rest of the Auditore family too but we'll see lol.
