Turning sequoiias weight into a character choice is demeaning and insensitive. Btw. Love your work though

mind you i’m plus sized and have literally gone through all the same things i’ve talked about. he’s representation i’ve been wanting from an incredibly thin show for over a year and i’m absolutely fucking stoked we finally have a plus sized character onstage in this show based in the 60s when there were (and obviously have been since) deeply insane standards of thinness. it’s fine if you feel differently but these are all things IVE been though and have felt as someone who grew up poor AND plus sized and it’s not “insensitive” to acknowledge when someone’s not small and lean and thin. ngl its frankly a little weird to me to call it “demeaning” when these are VERY REAL feelings plus sized people go through on the daily and how looking a different way informs character choices and headspaces and values. also people make “character choices” based off the diff actors and swings looks all the time and refusing to acknowledge the things poor plus sized people go through is a little odd. i will always be an advocate about poverty and what it truly looks like and being plus sized. but thanks for the input 🤞

in my heart he’s blue-yellow colorblind and he used to color the sky the wrong color all the time in kindergarten

soda is colorblind to me and none of them knew til ace mentioned it thinking everyone had picked up on it

steve’s car has insane modifications and is so low to the ground he can’t go over speed bumps without the bottom of the car getting scraped
