I didn't notice until now that Izuku is actually shaking here. At first I thought the lines were supposed to indicate the movement of him vacuuming, but they're not.
The motion goes out from his shoulder rather than his elbow which makes little sense for someone moving a vacuum. He and Katsuki spend the entire scene cleaning the carpet, but the shaky lines are only in the panel at the climax of the uncomfortably stretching silence after Izuku's "What'd you think of it..."
Izuku isn't even wrong worrying that, without All Might's deus ex machina intervention, their situation might escalate again. Katsuki is gritting his teeth like he needs to stop himself from flinging back the usual verbal abuse.
And his resolve doesn't last longer than a few days.* While the lesson of "Win to save, save to win" and the accompanying cracks in his worldview stick, his treatment of Izuku reverts back to almost normal by the time the joint training arc rolls around - like seriously, compare this scene and their interactions afterwards, it's a world difference.
Contrary to much of the fandom's rose-tinted view of the dvk2 aftermath, Katsuki doesn't magically become a different person. He has to put tangible effort into not treating his favourite hero's legacy like dirt and Izuku knows.
*liberally applying death of the author here
#have i mentioned how much i despise the way people treat their canon relationship?#like this isn't cute. nothing about this is fucking cute. normal people don't have to be scared of their fucking friends#bnha#mha#izuku midoriya#bakugou katsuki#bnha meta#my hero academia#anti bakugou#he ain't even doing anything bad in these panels just to be safe#bakugou critical

Some people think "Dabi would listen to angry music like metal, because it matches his feelings!"
But I think Dabi would never listen to metal. He’d probably say "Ugh it’s too loud. Turn it off.”
#who says thaaaat he would not#this man clearly listens to Adele and angry break up songs but he interprets them to be about his shitty family#also he is a canonical health disaster so he probably has a tinnitus that gets aggravated by loud music

Can we take a sec to remember how dramatic All Might is??
he comes in calmly walking with his jacket in his hand

And keeps carrying it to the end of the staircase

JUST so he can dramatically toss it to the side and show that he’s ready to kick some ass

Like he could have tossed it at the door, but this adorable old man was like “nah imma wait till everybody can see me so they know its going down” lmao

This one is arguably very personal because I have no idea if other aros feel the same – but I've seen too many stories about a character being rejected where the person doing the rejecting is (accidentally or not) implied to be some sort of "bad guy" or "the one who has it easier", so I guess I had an itch to show my side.
Aromantic people and alloromantic people have such different views on what "true love" is that it's not about one or the other being "in the wrong" – it's just one big compatibility issue. All I can say is – as an aromantic, being confessed to romantically IS what leaves me heartbroken, for such reasons. Hopefully there will be a broader understanding of this in the future.

excuse me for stating the obvious but like. james gunn outright calling superman an immigrant and doubling down on it when he got backlash (because he IS an immigrant, that's the point of superman) + the in-movie dialogue of "aren't you going to read me my rights?" "you're an extraterrestrial, son. you haven't got any rights to read." + the violence of his arrest and how they torture and mistreat him unapologetically, all under the guise of "protecting america", in a film releasing during the onslaught of violent ICE kidnappings and abuse... yeah it's really no wonder right-wing knobheads are crying about this being woke. they're being forced to look directly at the reasons one of the most well-known and beloved heroes of all time would not be on their side. and that's only ONE of the reasons this movie covers
