“i was framed.”

you recoil, slightly, at the conviction in soobin’s voice. as a member of the student council, you’re obligated to serve as a monitor for detention once every few weeks. the only reason you’d even agreed was because you know that you’ll have time to do your homework - after all, your duties only encompass asking kids to sign in to make sure the detention goes on file, watching them for an hour, and then asking them to sign out.

that’s plenty of time for you to finish the english homework that’s been plaguing you. 

at least, it would be, if soobin wasn’t refusing to sign in. 

“dude,” you say, leaning forward in your chair. “whatever you were framed for - if you were framed at all - wouldn’t it have made sense to tell the teacher that before you landed in detention?”

he sighs, settling into the desk directly in front of you. “i mean, yeah, but i hate arguing with authority.” 

“i’m the authority in here.”

“yeah?” soobin quirks an eyebrow, leaning in. “what kind of authority takes notes on the great gatsby while they’re supposed to be watching the bad kids?”

“we aren’t bad!” yeonjun, soobin’s closest friend, pipes up from the back, and both you and soobin turn and glare at him. he raises both hands in surrender, shooting you both his signature grin - a smile that could (and does) get him away with most things. 

“that idiot’s the reason i’m in here.” soobin tilts his head towards his best friend. “please don’t make me sign in for a spitball he made and launched. i don’t need that on my record.”

“ew!” you respond, wincing in sympathy. “but…”

soobin leans even closer, placing his hands over yours. “please? i’ll help you with your notes.”

you sigh, blushing but not moving your hands out from under his. 

“fine.”

“what are you lovebirds talking about?” yeonjun calls again, shooting a smirk and a raised eyebrow at you and his best friend. both of you respond simultaneously, with expressions that are equal parts annoyed and amused.

“shut up yeonjun!”

I don’t doubt that you’ve been caught ~ compromised ~ in the practice room after everyone goes home and manager-nim is locking up

Seeing him cry does hurt you though but you’re always right there for him

And it’s really difficult for him to get the words out when he needs to

But eventually he’ll tell you what’s wrong and why he was upset

So being conscious of what you say in an argument will be a big mountain to surpass because both of you have a lot of bite

Although you really will go outside and see some new things

Have some beach dates and throw water at each other

Watch terrible horror movies

Because you can’t think of anything else you’d want to do

You two are also just so calming to be around

Even his friends and your friends have no problem with the other coming because

And the way you make each other laugh or you’ll nod at the same time or you’ll reach for each other’s hand just to feel the other person there-

It’s just so obvious that you two are enamoured with each other

Bubbles - Jacob

I am actually super whipped for Jacob Bae to the point where I am soft at the slightest thing that he does. I don’t have an official bias but oh my goodness I am extremely shy just at the sight of him. Let’s do this.

Bubble blowing was something you both enjoyed to do together, despite it being about four am and having classes in a few hours. Although you both didn’t speak, you knew that you both wouldn’t be going to class that day. The silence was comforting as you both stared at the bubbles that floated above your heads. His finger reaching out and popping a few in front of him, his eyes watching one float down but his eyes stopped at your eyes. His lips part in a gentle grin and he bashfully looks away. 

“Hm,” his soft voice rings out in the quiet room, causing you to look back at him. “Hm?” you gently ask, brushing your hair over your ear.

“You look,” he paused and grew shy, moving his eyes down to his hands. He played with the bubble wand below him, biting his lower lip. 

You leaned over and poked his chest, pouting your lower lip, “What?” Your hands falling down to rest on his own. Continuing to pout, your eyes trying to look into his. Leaning over, you gently picked up the bubble wand from his hands and you asked quietly, “I look like what?” 

His eyes rose towards you and you saw him gulp, his cheeks heating up once more. “You look,” he said again, but his breath got caught in his throat, his lips parting softly. You tilted your head and raised an eyebrow, “Bad?” you sighed and leaned back away from him, “I look bad.” you said. 

This caused him to shake his head, reaching out to grab your hands, “N-no, I never said that!” He licks his lower lip and cups one side of your face, “I was going to say that you looked pretty,” his eyes travel around your face, “with the bubble in your hair, just like a fairy.” His fingers brush out some of the bubbles and he leans over to press a kiss on your nose. You shut your eyes at the gentle gesture, your eyes shutting, and your fingers reach over to grip his shirt. 

Opening your eyes, you see his own eyes shut, with a small smile set on small pink lips. “I guess you secretly are a fairy,” he says in his soft voice. His own eyes open and he leans over, rubbing your noses together, “You always seem to put me in some sort of trance when I am with you.” 

“You are the one who seems to look more like a fairy,” your finger tracing his face, scooting closer to him, “Look at all your cute fairy features.” This caused Jacob to giggle and wiggle in your arms. It seemed to have caused a chain reaction because you both were leaning against each other and giggling. You tilted your head up and connected your lips together, holding one of his hands tightly. You felt his face grow hot beneath you but his hand cupped a side of your face, bringing you closer. You pulled back and smiled, resting your forehead against his own. Shutting your eyes and exhaling softly against his lower lip. 

“You had me under another spell, huh?” he mumbled gently under his breath. “If you keep doing that I don’t think I am ever going to get out.” 

You chuckled and opened your eyes, looking into his own, “What if that was the plan?” 

He gave a small smirk and pressed another kiss to your lips, shutting his eyes, “I wouldn’t mind it all.”
