Ppl support mental health until they can’t romanticise it.

Until I was 12, I had social anxiety so bad that I’d rather piss myself than ask to go to the bathroom. I’d wait until I physically was in pain to ask. This caused intense and recurrent UTIs. Until this last November, I couldn’t get myself to brush my teeth regularly.

Mental illness can be gross, upsetting, and embarrassing.

Mental illness can be unhygienic and mean and dangerous and scary.

You are seen. You are heard. You are safe with me.
