Alright- Similarly to Clawdeen, here is my redesign/fusion of G1 & G3 Cleo De Nile.
G3 Cleo.. frustrated me. She still does. Valley girl Cleo who’s show model gives off Great Value Isabella Madrigal vibes just ISN’T IT for me. Cleo’s rich, catty, but also insecure. She puts her heart into EVERYTHING she does, from fearleading to fighting for her right to be with her boyfriend Deuce. She’s loyal to a fault despite her flaws, and the removal of them for a “younger audience” doesn’t sit right with me. (Also they broke up the otp and so I c r y)
In terms of clothes her heavy pants and thick top for her show design, and the heavy dress and sleeves for her doll, make NO sense to me. Her jewelry may be stunning, but a staple of Egyptian fashion is sheer or think flowing cloth and a bit less modestly because IT IS THE DESERT. So, I tried to emphasize that. As for the bob hairstyle I saw it in her concept art for G3 and loved it because it reminded me of her Skull Shores and Dawn Of The Dance hairstyles, so I brought it back.
The blue eyes I kept from G1 for both contrast and the fact that Cleo is based on Cleopatra, who was Greek and not Egyptian, meaning she possibly had lighter colored eyes.

Alright so- Hi, I’m Chess, and I’ve decided to upload some of my art to this wild ass website after years of near silence— starting with my Monster High Fusions/Redesigns!!
Here we have Monster High’s #1 Fashionista, Clawdeen Wolf. While I am OK with G3 making her more nerdy.. She’s CLAWDEEN FRIKIN WOLF and she’s in a FASHION DOLL LINE, leopard print overalls are NOT it hun. Sooo I tried to merge G1 and G3 in a way that makes sense to me- she’s a fashion nerd who strives to be a designer that merges human & monster cultures through fashion. She sews most of her own clothes and often ends up pulling all nighters to learn new techniques or fun historical facts about fashion.
