I discovered a new mangaka that I really like!!  / picking up a new project

I bought a bunch of random manga ebook magazines today (several that I wasn’t familiar with, in hopes of finding some new interesting authors), and I hit the jackpot!! My new favorite fairly unknown author is Shikakui Hako! I’ll be picking up Nanji Rinjin ni Koiseyo. 

I think this was one of her first serialized yaoi manga, or at least one of the first couple - I’ll need to do more research.   It’s a two-part oneshot (each part is longer than a standard chapter though).  This series is about a cowardly younger macho seme (he has some nice abs!) and a slutty erratic older uke who are neighbors.  The mangaka describes it as a “pure-love drama.”  The ending was super sweet. 

So, I loved the art and thought it was actually really funny too! I can’t wait to release this so you guys can be properly introduced to this new author!

He’s the Undertaker from Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler)!!!  

If you didn’t read the manga, I don’t think you actually see his eyes (without his hair covering them) in the anime until The Book of the Atlantic.  But totally could be wrong...I haven’t rewatched old Black Butler in a long time (whereas The Book of the Atlantic movie came out fairly recently). But yeah, the super talented Shinya colored him from the black and white manga page for me awhile back.

~New Release ~ My Tongue in Your Mouth Chapter 5 (Nyannya)

Yaaaaaaay, finally got to the last chapter!  Although there is still a nine page extra, this is the last full chapter.  Thanks for sticking with us so far.  I’d like to thank Beezlekn, Yoru, Bambi, and Ryoko Nicole for their help on this chapter! FuwaFuwa was too busy traveling, so instead, he sent me super creepy close-up pictures of his face in New Orleans...Thanks for that...I’m totally not scarred for life and you were clearly an integral part of this release....Anyway, here’s the download link:

Mini Nyannya Updates

My Tongue in Your Mouth Chapter 5 - Proofreader # 1 looked it over last night.  Proofreader #2 will take a look tonight.  So depending on what time she finishes, I’ll either release it tonight or tomorrow morning.

Jawbreaker Chapter 1 - I’m 100% done cleaning, translating, and typesetting it!   The release date will depend on the availability of my proofers.  

Chapter 2 is already being worked on! Bambi is currently cleaning it and Beezlekn is uncensoring it!!

Regarding Jawbreaker (the new Nyannya series!!)

So first off, I totally love it (I might like it even more the My Tongue in Your Mouth...).  There are currently three chapters out (sorry, I’ve been selfishly just reading them), but I stayed up most of last night to work on chapter 1.  I finished half the chapter (created raws, cleaned, translated, and typesetted).  I’ll be done in 1-2 days (hooray being on vacation), but my proofreaders are still busy.  So yeah, don’t know when I can release it yet.  One of my proofreaders might have a little time tomorrow, but I assume you guys want me to release chapter 5 of My Tongue in Your Mouth first?

Anyway, back to Jawbreaker ~ so there aren’t any sex scenes in chapter 1, but there are lots of them in chapter 2 and 3!  Beezlekn will be uncensoring them, so look forward to tons of amazing dicks ! Beezlekn is pretty much a god, so I’m so lucky to have their help!!

Um...so you guys probably are wondering what the premise of Jawbreaker is?  Let’s see...so it’s about two college-aged childhood friends, Logan and Daniel.  One’s a ginger (there are plenty of redhead disses in this manga, haha so sorry if you’re one too) and the other is a megane-kun (he wears glasses). Once Daniel finds out that Logan is somehow still a virgin (he hasn’t even had a real kiss either), he offers to help him practice kissing.  

So before you guys go like, “OMG, THAT’S BEEN DONE TO DEATH! BOOO,” here me out.  It’s actually really good!  It isn’t cheesy at all, and will not be quite what you’re expecting.  I really love it, and it’s actually pretty funny too!  The sass-level on megane-kun (Daniel) is just too much.

Here are two spoiler pages just so you can see what the characters look like (they haven’t been proofread yet, so they’ll probably change later).  Also, they’re not in a row, so they won’t connect (they’re like 8 pages apart)

We're finally getting chapter 1 of Mita Ori's I'm crying blood I'm so happy

Yeah, sorry for the extremely huge delay.  That was entirely my fault…so, 本当にごめんね!  Feel free to direct all your complaints to me…but I did just finish typesetting it!  I sent it over to Hoshi and Motokare, so once they QC it and whatever else they want to do with it, it’ll get released!  Hoshi will be the one to release it on Tumblr (I’ll just reblog).  But I totally love this manga.  It’s so adorable! Mita Ori is the master of fluff.

New Jaw Breaker preview! (the new Nyannya series)

Nyannya just posted this spoiler from her new series, Jaw Breaker! Maybe we’ll get a dominant uke this time (the fact that someone’s hands are on his head while he’s giving a blowjob)?? 

There wasn’t a caption or anything, but I think we can assume that it’s coming soon!   My guess is still the September Be X Boy magazine, which comes out August 7th.  The lineup for that will be officially announced in a few days.  I’ll keep you guys posted.  I can’t wait to find out what the new series is about though (and obviously start scanlating it)!

In other news, the uncensoring god, Beezlekn, is currently uncensoring chapter 5 of My Tongue in Your Mouth!!  I’ll release it a few days after they’re done redrawing those amazing dicks.  I can’t wait to see what they come up with this time! ~ Remember, those dicks were lightsabers, so they’re entirely Beezlekn’s original art!

~New Release~ Chapter 2 & 2.5 of the Ore no Doukyuusei Series (Harada)

Here are the Harada chapters that I’ve been talking about for such a long time now!!  This was by far the hardest project I ever worked on, and it definitely would not have been possible without the help of all the extremely talented people who helped out! Thank you guys so much!! 

This series is a little unusual for a Harada manga.  It isn’t extremely twisted or heart-breaking (although those stories are always amazing).  It’s about two idiotic horny high-school students.  I think it’s actually pretty funny.  However, I guess there’s an ever-so-tiny twist at the end?

I’ll keep you guys posted on any new details I find on this.  But if Nyannya stays with Be x Boy, my guess is this’ll be released in the September issue, which comes out August 7th.  But we’ll see!

Yikes...I have 55 ask messages in my inbox...

I’ve really been slacking off, haven’t I?  I answered some of the more recent ones...But I don’t think I can go through all of those.  Maybe most of them were from when I took some time off? To cover some of the topics I glanced at:

A few of them were regarding projects that I only helped out on a chapter or two (they weren’t my projects).   So I’d go ahead and ask the main groups that are releasing those projects (you would find this on their credit pages).

Some were scanlation requests.  Sorry, not taking any of those right now, I’ve got my hands full.  I’m even thinking of dropping a few projects (that I haven’t started yet, so they won’t actually become dropped projects).   I’ve waited too long on a few them, so it’s not fair to keep holding on to them.  Others I simply didn’t like how the story ended up, so I lost interest.  And I think actually one of them got licensed.  I’ll make an announcement of all of that in detail eventually. 

I’ve gotten a few asking when I’m going to start the JJ x Yurio YOI dj.  I was honestly going to start that right away back then, but then I sat down to translate the first page and saw that it said, “It’s a JJ スタイル!” The first part is actually written in english in the doujin, but yeah, that translates to “It’s a JJ Style!”  And I just burst out laughing.  Can’t take that seriously at all.  Now I’m imaging JJ with an Italian accent and absolutely can’t take it seriously.  I  will 100% translate it eventually (I’ll just leave the 1st page for last haha), as JJ is drawn beautifully (Yurio is a little too girly looking for my taste, but that’s fine).  Also, the entire DJ is them banging (we see their dicks soooo many times), so obviously that’s lots of fun.  I don’t think anyone else has started on this one, right?  If they have, just tell me, and I won’t work on it.  But to be honest, of all the doujins I have, I’m most interested in the Mou Ichido, Nando Demo (Aniya Yuiji) one, so that’ll probably be the next doujin I release.

What am I currently working on ? Go check out my weekly task list.  I actually updated it and it’s actually accurate.  Imagine that!

What will be released next?  Beezlekn is currently uncensoring chapter 4 of My Tongue in Your Mouth (yay!), so in the mean time, I’m trying to finish the Harada project.  I’m actually making great progress. So that’ll probably be next. But Nyannya projects always get bumped up to top priority for me, so when it’s my turn to work on them, I’ll put whatever else I’m working on, on hold.  

I think that should answer the majority of them? I’m definitely super active again (and I have some amazing help from new staff and freelancers!), so I’ll try to be better about answering most of them right away!  I can’t promise I’ll always answer every single one though.

IS THIS A NEW NYANNYA SERIES?!?!

So I’m totally overreacting, but I just saw this on Nyannya-sensei’s twitter (without any sort of caption):

So I really don’t recognize those characters, or that scene from chapter 4 or 5 from My Tongue in Your Mouth.  Maybe it’s from a possible extra? But hopefully it’s a new series.  I’m already freaking out that I won’t know what to do with myself once I finish scanlating My Tongue in Your Mouth...So obviously I will stalk her twitter to find out more! *totally ashamed*  ....but, she’s one of favorite manga artists, so I really hope I get to work on more of her future projects!  Those two characters are nowhere near as cute as Luke or Eric, but I’m sure I’ll love that manga regardless.

Anyway, I’ve obviously made too many posts today...and should really get back to scanlating!

Having problems with the MEGA link for chapter 3 of My Tongue in Your Mouth?

So I’ve had several people tell me they’re having problems with the MEGA link for chapter 3.  But then others (the majority) have had no problems at all.  Is there anyone who still can’t download this chapter? If so, worst case scenario, I can just make another link.

As a side note, did anyone catch the super random comment Nyannya-sensei put in this chapter? LOL
