I was very impartial about him early on, but the conclusion of his storyline in the manga just ruined me.

Reviving Yuichiro for the Nezuko AU as a kakushi. He still loses an arm and his twin still loses his memory.

Seeing his brother post recovery sent Muichiro in a panic since he couldn't remember this person who looked exactly like him.

Also shaken by the meeting, Yuichiro decided to keep his distance and watch his brother from the sidelines.

He cut his hair to better hide it under his headdress. (And I needed some visual difference between them when drawing them.)

More mini comics for my KnY AU

Nezuko slowly regains her consciousness in this universe. Her fox mask breaks in the Swordsmith Village arc, and she contemplates another way to grow stronger as a fighter.

Testing out some mini comics for this AU. I thought it would be nice if Tanjiro got an extra parting gift from Urokodaki. A warding mask would sure come in handy as a demon slayer.

More fox mask AU sketches. I figured since Urokodaki managed to give Tanjiro some fresh clothes for his final selection test, why not have some for Nezuko too?

Will tag these AU concepts with fox mask Nezuko for now.

I've been mulling over an AU storyline for KnY where Nezuko got a cool fox mask from Urokodaki.

Sketchtember 18 & 19: Tamayo, Yushiro & Chachamaru

Drawing time: 6hrs

I tried for a rough sketch/coffee painting effect for Tamayo's half and tested a watercolor brush in Krita. Not sure if either rendering styles are successful, but it was fun trying.
