Harry Styles/Louis Tomlinson | NR | 74.6k | 18 chapters
āLouis,ā Harry breathed happily. His smile widened as he realized heād finally found him, and he was stood before his soulstar. This was the closest theyād been in 31 Earth years, which had felt extraordinarily long for Harry, even in his star form. He could hardly withhold his happiness at seeing him again.
āErm, yeah,ā Louis said, interrupting Harryās thoughts with his brows furrowing and looking clearly suspicious. āAnd you are?ā
Harry and Louis are literal stars who have known they were soulmates from their creation eons ago, however when Louis came to Earth to start the next phase of their fated future, he forgot everything. Even Harry.
This leaves Harry to break the rules and instead of waiting for Louis to call him and join him on Earth, he crashes down on his own. Without Louis there to guide him and help him learn how to adjust to having a human body and everything associated with that, Harry has no other choice but to do the best he can.
As Harry tries to correct what has gone wrong, he finds that friendship can be a light even in the darkest night, and through those bonds even separated soulstars can find their fated path once more.

Mere days after winning āArtist of the Yearā at the inaugural Northern Music Awards,Ā Louis TomlinsonĀ is celebrating the only way he knows how ā by giving back. Tomlinson just dropped a surprise album, which includes a curated list of live performances over the past years. Itās a risky move, as live albums are notoriously difficult to make worthwhile. But thereās no doubt about it: Tomlinson is deserving of that award, and the recordings onĀ Louis Tomlinson: LIVEĀ deserve to live forever.
After an initial stop-start to his solo career, Tomlinson has certainly flourished since finally getting to hit the stage. Heās been touring extensively over the past few years, performing a mix of tracks from his first two albums. Both were solid records that heavily referenced anthemic, rich sonic soundscapes. In fact, Tomlinson previously admitted that he wrote certain tracks with a live show in mind. Indeed, songs like āFace The Music,ā āOut Of My Systemā and āThe Greatest,ā from his No. 1 selling albumĀ Faith in the Future, absolutely benefit from the live instrumentals compared to their studio versions.
It isnāt often that live performances consistently seem to not only live up to but objectively improve the perfectly engineered studio recordings. Perhaps itās the love that the album so clearly captures for live music that does it. The singer-songwriter is an avid fan of his own fans and gets to share a collective experience of joy with them. Just listen to the crowds serenading Tomlinson in return during āChicago,ā recorded live in ā you guessed it, Chicago. From Tomlinsonās perspective, audiences across the world have always been part of breathing life into these live recordings. Now, people get to live that same experience with him by listening to this record that is woven together with impeccably mixed joyful screaming in the background.
Tomlinsonās storytelling isnāt hindered by the crowdās reaction. Rather, it is bolstered by it. In both power ballads like āCommon Peopleā as well as raucous tracks like āSilver Tongues.ā The live setting seems to function almost akin to a prism ā each song shining brighter, richer, fuller. Perhaps the only track that is tighter in the original version, is the seductive āWritten All Over Your Face.ā Nonetheless, the instrumental break and palpable, wild excitement make for an enjoyable listen.
Similarly, right in the middle of the highly addictive āAll This Time/We Are Beautyā mash-up, a fan can be heard screaming āI love youā if you listen closely. The sheer adulation of the crowd is decidedly earned. Tomlinson has worked hard to prove himself, despite never having lacked the talent. Perhaps merely the confidence that heĀ couldĀ do it,Ā wouldĀ do it,Ā hasĀ done it. Nevertheless, heās been open about the tension between his own love for music, and his at times debilitating need for perfection. As heās settled into his career, a quiet undertone of determination and grit, of relief and fulfillment ā of gratitude remains in every single show.
On āSaturdays,ā you can actually hear Tomlinson mumble that the viewās never been better from where heās stood on stage. Itās a high-maintenance track with all the right ingredients for a Tomlinson classic. Thereās confessional lyricism, emotive delivery, and a gradual yet powerful crescendo in musical arrangement. It needs to be sung with conviction, and itās clear that Tomlinson pulls power from the audience to deliver.
Notably, none of the covers that Tomlinson frequently incorporates in his concerts made it onto this live album. With that in mind, perhaps this release signals that Tomlinson has finally embraced his own artistry. Because if anything,Ā Louis Tomlinson: LIVEĀ is a reckless celebration record. An ode to joy, the synergy between artist and audience, and the impact of well-timed, flawlessly executed live guitar solos.
Itās incredible how Louis is getting articles after articles of positive press about this album. Everyone is talking about it! And heās getting all this attention for an amazing live album that truly showcases his talent, his voice and his connection to fans. An album that is the core of what he loves the most about his jobs: the live shows. Love to see it, Iām so proud of him and Iām so happy for him. Heās shining bright š„ŗ
i hate when i send someone a meme in another language and they're like "uhm... translate? š" fucker i sent you a meme where 90% of the words have an english cognate and/or you don't need to know what they're saying to find it funny. can you at least TRY
i think louis has a crush on me. he gazes at me and his eyes sparkle. he calls me pet names and we kiss sometimes. i confronted him about it and he told me weāre married. iām okay with that.
the other day he put a lamp in the washing machine. itās unrelated but i thought it was worth mentioning. he also told me that cows have best friends and get distressed when theyāre separated and i cried for hours.
Louis still living up to his āI need you and you need me and I fucking love thatā like he didnāt have to put us in there but he DID and it makes it so much more special
